“Lord Danann's orders... You are not to go any further!”
—Schmidt's battle quote in Genealogy of the Holy War

Schmidt is an enemy character from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. He is an officer serving under Danann during his cruel reign in Isaach. In what little screentime he has, he shows absolute and unquestioning loyalty to his lord. After Seliph captures two castles that belong to Danan, alongside the recruiting of either Iuchar or Iucharba by Larcei/Creidne, Danan orders Schmidt to depart from Rivough and recapture the castles. He will eventually be stopped in his tracks and slain, unable to carry out his task.
