The Scythe of Sariel is a Lance that debuts in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It is the signature weapon of the Death Knight and takes the form of a large black scythe.
Overview[]
In Three Houses, the Scythe of Sariel is only slightly stronger than a Steel Lance, but a combination of low weight, high Hit, and deadly critical hit rate makes it very powerful.
In Heroes it has a Killer effect, reducing the Death Knight's Special cooldown max by 1. In addition, it will grant +4 to Atk/Def/Res/Spd during combat and cancel the enemy's follow-up attack when the enemy unit has a stat, movement, or skill bonus (such as Armor March or the Dragon Effectiveness status effect).

Trivia[]
- The Scythe of Sariel is an Agarthan weapon, as indicated by its flavor text, weapon icon color, and use of Agarthium in forging.
- As such, the scythe is also the only Agarthan weapon that can be legitimately obtained by the player in Three Houses, along with the Crescent Sickle.
- In both Three Houses and Heroes, the Scythe of Sariel uses the attack animations of an axe instead of a lance.
