Seasons (節 Setsu lit. Time in the Japanese version) is a gameplay feature that indicted the passing of a year. In Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, throughout the game four seasons are cycled through:
- Flostym (花の節, Hana no Setsu lit. Time of Flowers)
- Avistym (鳥の節, Tori no Setsu lit. Time of Birds)
- Pegastym (天馬の節, Tenma no Setsu lit. Time of the Pegasus)
- Wyrmstym (竜の節, Ryū no Setsu lit. Time of the Dragon)
Trivia
Avi, Flos, and Pega have Latin roots, while Wyrm is Germanic.
