The Short Bow is a Bow that debuted in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776.
Overview
In the GBA games, this bow possesses a critical rate that is higher than most of its counterparts, although it is modest when compared to the Killer Bow. The Short Bow is easier to wield than a normal Steel Bow, owing to its low Weight reducing the extent of Attack Speed penalties that may arise.
In Fates, the Short Bow is referred to as the Mini Bow in localised versions of the game. This bow is, unlike other bows, imbued with the peculiar property of only being usable at a range of 1.
In Three Houses, the Short Bow is once again referred to as the Mini Bow in localized versions of the game. This bow, unlike in Fates, can be used at both ranges of 1 and 2. However, it cannot make follow-up attacks at 1 range, and it lacks the ability to deal weapon effectiveness damage to Flying units.
