The Short Spear is a Lance that debuted in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade.

OverviewEdit

The second of three ranged lances, it has recurrently appeared across the Fire Emblem series. The Short Spear is characterized by a Might that is superior to that of the Javelin, a fact that is offset by it possessing lower Accuracy. The exception to this rule comes in the form of the lance's Path of Radiance iteration, where it is noticeably more accurate. The Short Spear is considered to be unorthodox in terms of its Durability in the GBA titles, deviating from the standard multiple-of-5 figure.

Generally, Short Spears cannot be purchased in regular armories, and are instead obtained through other methods, including looting Chests and receiving them as drops from defeated opponents.

The Short Spear is analogous to the Short Axe.
