Profile
Siegmund is, alongside its sister weapon, introduced after battle against Orson in Chapter 16. After taking the Sacred Stone of Renais and allowing their braces to resonate with it, Eirika and Ephraim are guided to two Chests that are located nearby. Seth then unlocks both chests, taking both Sieglinde and Siegmund from their depths, and gives the latter to Ephraim. The lance is then wielded by Ephraim in his quest to vanquish the Demon King's influence from the continent of Magvel.

Etymology
Siegmund is named after the figure of the same name from Norse Mythology. Siegmund shared an incestuous relationship with Sieglinde, his sister, and together they conceived a son, Siegfried.
Trivia
- Sieglinde and Siegmund are the only Sacred Twins that have similar names, with the only difference resting on the last four to five letters. This is most likely because the weapons themselves are named after twins.
- Siegmund is the German derivative of the name "Sigmund", coming from sigu, victory, and mund, protector.
