The Silver Shuriken is a Shuriken that is introduced in Fire Emblem Fates. The strongest of the standard Shuriken appearing in the game, the Silver Shuriken is defined by high Might, the ability to raise the Speed of its wielder by 2, alongside reducing the Speed, Defense and Resistance of enemy units post-battle. These strengths do, however, come at the cost of quite a number of penalties, including a reduction in the wielder's Critical Evade, alongside reducing their Strength and Skill post-battle.

Etymology[]
The shuriken (手裏剣) was a common throwing weapon for ninja, and its name can mean "sword hidden in the hand", or "the sword inside of hand". They came in a variety of shapes, from flattened blades to the popular star shape.
