Skogul (ゲイレルル, Geireruru lit. Geirolul) is a class that first appears in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It is an Overclass and functions as the promotion for the Gold Knight class.

Etymology
The name 'Skogul' appears to be a reference to a figure in Norse mythology (specifically a valkyrie) who is sent by Odin to select members for his court, and can alternatively refer to the root word in Old Norse which means 'shaker'.
The Skogul's Japanese name "Geirolul" was the name of another one of Odin's valkyries, and the name means "spear-waver" which matches the class' exclusive use of lances.
