The Spear (abbreviated from スレンドスピア Surendo Supea) is a type of Lance. It is similar to a Javelin in that it can be used for Melee or Ranged fighting. It has a slight chance of inflicting a critical hit, except in FE12.

Trivia

  • In Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken, Vaida carries a unique Spear enhanced by Nergal's magic that gives +17 HP, +5 Strength, +4 Skill, +9 Speed, +4 Defense, and +14 Resistance. It can be obtained with the Mine Glitch by trading it for the obtainable Luna of a nearby Shaman. This is possible because the items themselves do not affect obtainability, but the inventory slot does.
