“Doubles as ranged attack.”
—In-game description, The Sacred Stones

The Spear (スレンドスピア Surendo supia, lit. Slender Spear in the Japanese versions) is a Lance that recurrently appears across the Fire Emblem series. Like the Javelin, this lance permits its wielder to engage in both melee and ranged combat. The Spear also possesses a slight chance of inflicting a Critical hit, save for its New Mystery of the Emblem, Awakening, and Fates incarnations.
