Overview
Steal (盗む Nusumu) is a recurring Skill in the Fire Emblem games, and is used by the Thief, Rogue, Assassin, and Whisper classes. This skill allows them to pilfer items or gold from enemy units, though the nature of these items vary from game to game. Certain enemy brigands in Thracia 776 have the steal ability, being the only non thief class or promotion to ever be able to use this skill.

In Saga: Utna Heroes Saga, this skill appears in two forms, specifically that of Steal and Mug (強盗 Gōtō). In this game, Mug allows its user to steal items from a selected enemy unit at the expense of reducing the Accuracy and Avoid of all allies within a 3 square radius, while Steal allows its user to pilfer items from enemy units in battle.

In the GBA Fire Emblem titles, any item that requires a weapon rank cannot be stolen. For an item to be stolen, the user must possess a Speed stat higher than the unit he/she is stealing from. However, this is rarely an issue, due to the fact that they are relatively swift in nature. Additionally, when stealing a weapon, the thief's Strength stat must be higher than that of the weapon's weight in order to ensure a successful theft.

Steal is a Skill that debuted in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light.

Overview

This skill allows the player to pilfer gold and unequipped items from an adjacent foe, allowing him/her to obtain desired items, other than those that are droppable. However, the nature of these items can vary from game to game. Certain enemy brigands in Thracia 776 have the Steal skill, being the only non-thief class or promotion to ever be able to use this skill.

Steal is a recurring in the Fire Emblem series, and is used by the Thief, Rogue, Assassin, and Whisper classes.

In TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga, this skill appears in two forms, specifically that of Steal and Mug.

In Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, thieves will lose the ability to steal if they promote into the Assassin class. In Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade thieves do not promote at all.

Steal is one of the three soldier skills of Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn and thus does not take up any capacity space.
