The Steel Shuriken is a Shuriken that is introduced in Fire Emblem Fates. Slightly stronger than its iron counterpart, the Steel Shuriken is able to reduce the Strength, Defense and Resistance of enemy units post-battle, alongside increasing its wielder's Speed by 2. The Steel Shuriken does, however, come with a reduction to its wielder's ability to perform double attacks.

Etymology

The shuriken (手裏剣) was a common throwing weapon for ninja, and its name can mean "sword hidden in the hand", or "the sword inside of hand". They came in a variety of shapes, from flattened blades to the popular star shape
