StoneStone is the name of a Dark Magic tome used by Veld in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, and a weapon used by Gorgons in Fire Emblem 8. If it hits, it will turn the target to stone and that unit will be unable to move or attack until they recover, or are healed with a Restore. In Fire Emblem 8, Because stone has no rank, it can be used by any character if gotten using a cheating device, such as a GameShark. In Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, the effect is permanent and can only be removed with the Kia Staff, also turns into a Fenrir tome when stolen. In Fire Emblem 8, one can use the control enemy-glitch to get a couple of "Stone" from Gorgons in Neleras Peak. Any magic-user's (Excluding Shamans, Druids and Summoners) Dark Mastery Level will be instantly increased to an E-Rank. Keep using the spell until the Dark Mastery level reaches D, which means Flux can now be used.
