Summon Hero is an Engage Attack in Fire Emblem Engage.
Overview[]
Summon Hero can be used by a unit that is Engaged with Emblem Veronica. When used, the player has the option to choose between a red, blue, green, and colorless stone. Red stones will summon sword wielding units, blue lance, green axe, and colorless has units that wield something other than sword, lance, or axe. Once the user choses a stone, the user will summon a random unit from that stone's summoning pool that is between three and five stars in rarity. The rate of summoning a specific rarity are as follows:
- 3 Star Summon — 30%
- 4 Star Summon — 40%
- 5 Star Summon — 30%
Three stars are Fabrications in base classes, four stars Fabrications in promoted classes, and five stars are Emblems. The summoned unit's level is based on the summoner's internal level, with 3 stars being 2 levels lower than the summoner, 4 stars having the same level, and 5 stars being 2 levels higher. These summoned units are fully controllable by the player, and last until they are defeated in combat or the summoner's Engage form ends.
The skill has additional effects depending on the user's Battle Style:
- Dragon: Summons a powerful unit. (The 3 star summoning rate is merged with the 4 star summon rate)
- Backup: Summoned unit has the Dual Strike skill.
- Cavalry: Summoned unit gets Mov+1.
When Veronica uses Summon Hero during her paralogue, the skill spawns reinforcements instead of summoning a random unit.

Summonable 5-Star Emblems[]
When summoned, each Emblem can show up with one of their three potential weapons, based on the summoner's level. Their first weapon shows up when the summoner is low leveled, the second sometime after level 16, and their third and final weapon is available once the summoner's internal level has surpassed 29.

Trivia[]
- This skill is a reference to summoning as it works in Fire Emblem Heroes, even using the same colored stones, music, and sound effects.
- Emblems that can be summoned with a weapon that is not one of their Engage Weapons (such as Lucina with a Brave Lance or Camilla with Bolganone) seem to be references to the Emblem's classes in their original games.
