The Superior Lance (槍殺しの槍 Sōgoroshi no yari, lit. Lanceslayer Lance) is a Lance that debuts in Fire Emblem Awakening. As can be determined from its name, this lance is one that is practically unmatched by its other lance counterparts in the game. This is principally due to the fact that the Superior Lance grants its wielder the Lancebreaker skill when equipped, a skill that grants them a set of bonuses when facing off against a lance-wielding opponent in battle.
It reappears in Fire Emblem Warriors under the name Lancebane Lance, available exclusively via downloadable content, where it comes with the Lancebreaker attribute built-in, allowing it to deal additional damage against other lance wielders.
