Swordbreaker is a Skill that debuted in TearRing Saga: Berwick Saga, under the name Dodge Swords. It has appeared in multiple Fire Emblem games starting with Fire Emblem Awakening.

Overview

It is a skill that triggers if a unit would be hit by a sword, blade, or mace. When activated, it rerolls the hit with an accuracy cap of 33%; thus, it effectively cuts hit rates 33% and up by two thirds and square roots hit rates below 33%. It is unobtainable on playable units and only found on a few enemy units.

In Fire Emblem Awakening, the skill increases the user's Hit Rate and Evasion by 50% when the enemy is equipped with a Sword. It should be noted that the ability does not stack with the Superior Edge; only one of the two's effects will be used.

In Fire Emblem Heroes it can be learned without inheriting by: Abel, Sully, and Ike.
