This is a Personal Revue on the two episode Fire Emblem series
The Series like any story worth reading/lessioning to starts off boring/corny/ or generaly unexiting. As the story unfolds however the viewer (in this case) is drawn into to the Characters and begins to feel for them. The series had great potentual but, in my openion, the first eposode most likely did not draw a large amount of Viewer intrest and lead to the Series demise. Even with this openion I can not think of a better way to start the series off.

(Side Note: Does anyone else Think that the Archer was voiced by the actor who voiced Snarf from the Thunder Cats series?)
(Side Note: I personaly liked the Animation and (most of) the Characters. I feel that the Animation fits the Fire Emblem series perfectly)
Why was Marth translated as Mars in the anime? Which is the more correct translation? If someone here is familiar with the Japanese language, please let me know. Thanks. And what's the name of that badguy with the battle axe in the first episode (first gets Marth's sister then later is killed by that big dude with the sword)? Also does that badguy appear in any of the Fire Emblem games as a villain?

- Due to Japanese being a phonetic language, this means names can be translated in various ways and there isn't really a right or wrong to translate. Marth's Japanese name is Marusu, which can be translated as Mars, Marth, etc. If a game isn't officially released in English, FE fans usually choose translations based on mythology (eg. Sigurd) or what Nintendo of Japan uses when writing the names in English (eg. Siglud). As for the axe user, I'm lazy to check the anime, but I seem to recall it's just the boss of FE1/11/ Chapter 1. What is going on with the names in this page?[]
I noticed that it uses the names in the anime, but... most of the localizations are just different spellings and pronounced the same for the most part(Aside from Doga ans such). And why isn't Marth Mars if we are going by the anime names on the page? I just wanna know what the names on the page were going for.
I guess my question is, should Marth be changed to Mars for this page or should the other names be changed to the localized versions to go with the usage of Marth on this page?-L95 (talk) 02:06, December 2, 2013 (UTC)
