What exactly is the point of this skill? Ike 20:09, September 4, 2012 (UTC)

To clarify here, is the damage added the same as the original damage type? For example, if the user casts a magic spell such as fire and his/her strength is 30, do they simply add 15 magic damage? Or does it add 15 physical damage? The spell would be a lot less useful if the damage types were split up because then you'd have to factor in both defense and resistance stats from the target. It just adds to the same type. Its a free +X damage, basically. 17:16, March 5, 2013 (UTC)

The best way to describe this skill is that if your stats run 40 strength and 40 magic. If you use a tome and Ignis activates, half of that person's strength, 20, will be compounded with their magic giving a sum of 60 base magic stat, then calculated on the base damage of the tome's base damage.
