Jeritza's AffiliationEdit

Jeritza Affiliation

Hey, just got a question regarding where we put Jeritza as a playable unit. As we all know, starting from update 1.1.0, Jeritza is playable from Chapter 13 onwards in the Crimson Flower route, similar to Gilbert with Azure Moon.

However, unlike Gilbert, Jeritza's affiliation is the Black Eagles instead of the Church of Seiros. I imagine this is because Jeritza leaves the Church of Seiros in Chapter 6 and doesn't believe in the religion whatsoever, that and him being from the Empire and part of the Black Eagles Strike Force in Crimson Flower, which declares war against the Church of Seiros. This can be compared to Gilbert, who also leaves the Church of Seiros in Chapter 12 (all routes), but is still a devout believer and loyal to them, often seen doing stuff like praying in his supports. But on pages like this, Jeritza is listed as a Church of Seiros character, likely because he is a teacher at the Officers Academy before leaving.

So, what exactly should we label Jeritza as? Personally, I think he should be listed as a Black Eagles character to stay true to in-game information, but I do see why he could also be listed as a Church of Seiros character, as to avoid minor spoilers, him being a teacher at the beginning of the game, and him being the only non-student listed in one of the three houses is kind of strange. He's listed with the Church characters on the Japanese website, and, like you said,he's not a student and so shouldn't be grouped in with them. Are You Serious (talk) 00:17, February 20, 2020 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't consider the Japanese website, yeah that does make sense, I believe it will be best to keep him listed as a Church of Seiros character. Thanks for sharing your view. :D TheHenrai (talk) 07:51, February 20, 2020 (UTC)
