SS RankEdit

OK, I've created this here because I don't know where create it. OK, it's written that Sephiran and Micaiah are the only playable characters that can reach SS Rank with two weapons. But Ike can reach SS Rank with both Axes and Swords. As well the Saint class can reach SS Rank with both Light Magic and Staves. Resulting in 6 playable characters reaching SS Rank with 2 or more weapons.--Shadow Master J 23:33, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

What's the deal with quotes are we allowed to change them if they get to old?--Do you see merric's Grr face? [and if i caught a mistake of yours pretend I slapped you.] 05:17, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Micaiah's SurvivalEdit

How is it that Micaiah survived to fight in Radiant Dawn to begin with? If the Begnion Senate was willing to kill her grandmother logic follows that they would also attempt to kill her heir so there would be no further Apostles to interfere with them. Someone had to have taken Micaiah and spirited her away Daein to keep her safe. Whoever it was would have to have been privy to the Senate's assasination of the Apostle and their attempts to seize full control of Begnion.--Alteisen Riese 21:25, August 20, 2011 (UTC)

It might be possible that it could happen. Micaiah's Age Edit

Although her age is never given, she is known to have been in Begnion up until the assassination of Apostle Misaha. This was around the same time as the Serenes Massacre, which we know was 20 years before Path of Radiance. She has no recollection of being in Begnion, due to her youth at the time. This would imply that she was between the age of 1-3 at the time. Since Radiant Dawn is three years after Path of Radiance and 23 years after the Serenes Massacre, that would mean that in Radiant Dawn she is in her mid-twenties. We can't get an exact number, but perhaps it could be mentioned somewhere in the article. The reason I think this should happen is because I have seen several comments across the internet by people claiming that she is much older than her appearance would suggest (I have even seen someone say they think she is over 100!) If it says in the article it says she is in her mid-twenties, it can help prevent that misconception.

I beilive Micaiah is at least 23 to 24 years of age in radiant dawn, she is at least a decade older than her sister, Sanaki, who is around 13 to 14 years of age in radiant dawn. I mean The heron massurce and the assanationation of Misha, the grandmother of Micaiah and Sanaki occured 20 years before path of radiance, which means someone must have placed her in daien when she was somewhere between being a new born to 2 years old girl, i suspect Sephrian/Lethran must be involved with her being in daien to protect her from lekain and the other senators, however he was not sure if she survived in daien after he dropped her off, which explains why he was acting extremly emotional around her and had the black knight protect her in radiant dawn (dawn)The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.218.90.59 (talk).

Didn't she like... raise Sothe or something? Ascarde (talk) 19:16, October 30, 2013 (UTC)

well sort of. sothe's age in path of radiance is implied to be around 13 to 15 years of age since he is considered a child at that time and is a little bit older than Sanaki, but seems to be around Tomrod and the other young teenagers like Mist. Ike was confirmed to be 17 to 18 years old in path of radiance and 20 to 21 years of age in Radiant dawn. but back to the topic. Micaiah was likely 17 to 18 years of age when she fisrt meet Sothe, based on the CGI artwork he appearead to be the around the age of 10 to 12. In a logical sense she is acually 5 to 8 years older than Sothe. she is not old enough to be his mother, however she did take care of him like a mother or older sister would do.(DAWN)The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.218.90.59 (talk).

Don't the Branded age slower than we do and as such they are actually far older than what they look like? 76.95.176.238 04:38, November 2, 2013 (UTC)

Well, likely to be far older, in any case. Ascarde (talk) 04:41, November 2, 2013 (UTC)

true, the branded live much longer than the beroc and shorter than the laguz. however the lifespan also depends on their Laguz Heiratage. Despite Micaiah's young apperace of a 16 to 18 year old woman, she is heavily implied to be 23 to 24 years of age in Radiant Dawn. DLC Canon?Edit

Would DLC Micaiah in FE13 be considered canon? Like her quotes when you recruit her as an Einherjar, where she partially seems to regret her actions in FE10. TriNiSette (talk) 06:23, February 10, 2014 (UTC)

Sidebar ArtEdit

I have changed Micaiah's sidebar artwork back to her official art from FE10. From the policy page:

  • For sake of consistency with other pages and to show the most recent designs for the characters, the most recent official artwork for a character shall be used in the character infoboxes.
    • The only exception is if an earlier incarnation of the character depicts them during a time where they were more important to the game's story (for example, Zephiel's page depicts his artwork from Binding Blade, where he was the main antagonist, in the infobox, instead of his more recent artwork from Rekka no Ken, where he was a minor character.)

So, that seems really straight forward to me -- obviously Micaiah was more important to the story of FE10 than she was to the story of FE13, where she just appears ias a spotpass character and in entirely optional DLC, especially where the current image is depicting her as an entirely different class and character design from the game she actually starred in. If Zephiel's page doesn't use the artwork of him as a shrimpy teenager hugging a little girl, then there's not really any excuse for using the art that depicts Micaiah as a Tharja cosplayer. If someone really feels that keeping the Awakening DLC guest art makes this page less confusing or more imformative, feel free to fight me on this, but I'm just really tired of this editing decision, and I'm going to go through the other pages that are using Awakening DLC art in the sidebar and fix them over the next while as well.
