Just wondering, why is "yato-no-kami" spelled just "yatogami"? I thought 夜刀神 is generally spelled "yato-no-kami", like 天照大神 is "amaterasu-no-oomikami"or 稗田阿求 "hieda no akyuu"?

- Yukimura says Yatogami (夜刀神), not Yato-no-kami 夜刀の神. The hiragana "の" is the sound "no". 夜刀 is "Yato"(Night Blade), 神 is "kami"(God). Put them together and it says Yatogami. —Nauibotics (talk) 03:21, August 16, 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry for being unclear, it's 34.17. Yukimura does say 夜刀神 but some seconds later, Kamui clearly says the reading of 夜刀神 is やとのかみ (救いをもたらす刀……やとの…かみ……). I've been trying to say that it's written 夜刀神 while generally read as やとのかみ despite the lack of の just like 稗田阿求 is read "hieda no akyuu"

- Hmm...I see. I missed that part. I won't say it's wrong now, especially given that the name is a reference to the Yato-no-Kami. Still, technically both are correct. Still I dunno if we should change it or not. It is the name we've gone with since the first time we "got" the name and most of our credits and names from the game comes from serenesforest.
