Tarvos Tarvos is a monster class in the video game Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

Tarvos units are one of the stronger monster classes. Most monster classes have very fundamental weaknesses that make them quite in-effective in actual combat situations, however the Tarvos monster has relatively stable stats that make it perform decently in combat.

Tarvos have relatively high attack stats so they can do some pretty decent damage, this is reflected in their powerful image. However they do have a rather low defense stat, this stat setup is much like that of Brigands.

When they die they tend to drop things like hand axes and iron axes, but they also can drop halberds which are really effective against horseriding units, the only setback to this item is its low accuracy. An effective way of handling these monsters is by using a zanbato, horseslayer, and an axereaver.
