Tatsumi Kimishima (君島 達己 Kimishima Tatsumi, Born April 21, 1950) was the fifth president and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nintendo.
Biography
Kimishima joined Nintendo after working at Sanwa Bank for twenty-seven years, much of which was spent at various western offices in the United States. His first experience in the video game industry was as the Chief Financial Officer of The Pokemon Company, which he joined in 2000. He was subsequently promoted to the position of president of Pokemon USA the following year, and in 2002, he succeeded Minoru Arakawa as president of Nintendo of America.
