Subjective: The following part of this article is based upon the editor's personal experiences and opinions, and therefore may not be applicable for all readers.

The strength of enemies encountered in The Ancestor, as well as the other Divine Paralogue chapters, scales depending on how far the player has progressed into the main campaign. Therefore, the earlier the player tackles this battle, the weaker the enemies will be.

The Silver Card is a hidden reward on this map and can be overlooked. It is placed on outside area between the western and center rooms of the map. If it is not obtained at the end of the battle, it can be obtained in any future skirmishes.

Enemy reinforcements emerge from the bottom of the map every 3 turns after you pass the second line of ice in the temple. They come in rounds, with 4 units each:

  • 2 Phantom Wyverns, an armored unit, thief, or cavalier with an axe, and a soldier with a lance.
  • The last wave, turn 35, will be 3 Phantom Wyvern instead of 2.

You can easily defeat all enemies if you bring 2 anti-flier weapons, and one or two mages.
