The Battle for the Locket is the third chapter of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes for players who chose to join the Golden Deer. The chapter 3 events in Scarlet Blaze, Azure Gleam, and Golden Wildfire all take place at the same time.
Story[]
Claude receives an urgent message from House Goneril warning of a large-scale invasion of Almyran soldiers advancing on Fódlan's Locket. The enemy, led by Almyran crown prince Shahid, plans to take advantage of Fódlan's internal strife in the Empire and Kingdom and make his big for the throne by conquering the continent. The Leicester Alliance mobilizes as many troops as it can muster, including Holst, one of the Alliance's strongest warriors, to defend the Locket from Almyra's aggression.

Despite its numbers advantage, the Almyran army's low morale allows Claude to outmaneuver them and lead the Alliance army to victory. Shahid tells Claude that he reminds him of his little brother, and vows to kill him the next time they meet. Claude decides to let Shahid return to Almyra for the time being, saying that it would be too risky to kill him right away.

Trivia[]
- This is the only Chapter 3 in Three Hopes where all the characters first recruited in a class are all playable. Annette will temporarily part ways in Azure Gleam Chapter 3 in order to prevent revolts against her family while Linhardt, Ferdinand, Bernadetta and Caspar will temporarily part ways in Scarlet Blaze Chapter 3 due to the secrecy of Edelgard's mission.
