Subjective: The following part of this article is based upon the editor's personal experiences and opinions, and therefore may not be applicable for all readers.

In this chapter, there are 17 demonic enemies on the map; 6 Shrine Maids, 3 Soldiers, a Swordmaster, Master Ninja, Sorcerer, Sniper, Holy Lancer, Berserker, Great Merchant and Garon himself. Despite having very few units, Garon and his soldiers shouldn't be underestimated; the soldiers carry both Counter and Magic Counter, which will severely weaken your units enough for them or the Great Merchant to finish them off.

All the promoted units are powerful, carrying at least an A or S-rank in their respective weapon and have very high stats. All but the Great Merchant are placed on the side rooms fortunately, but will move out over time. In addition, there is a Priestess nearby that will heal any damage they take, so they should be killed first if your units are strong enough to handle them. Unfortunately, players can only position one unit (or two paired units) in the side rooms, so getting to them will be very hard without getting the soldiers and great merchant's attention. However, if you defeat the promoted unit in the side room, the door behind them will unlock and drop you off outside Garon's room.

Garon shouldn't be underestimated either; his Dragonskin will reduce damage he takes by half. In addition, he has Mirror Strike and Diamond Strike, which will reduce your units' magic attack by 20 and physical attack by 10, and combined with Dragonskin can reduce damage to the single-digits or deal no damage at all.
