The Hungry Man is Yashiro Tsurugi's first side story in Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE.
Story[]
After calling Itsuki to the office, Yashiro explains that he hasn't had much time to eat due to his busy schedule, which got worse after he fired his assistant (they were against him joining Fortuna Entertainment). As such, Itsuki suggests that he go eat at Cafe Seiren, though he passes out right outside, forcing Mamori to have someone carry him inside.
After regaining conciousness, Yashiro admits that he never viewed eating as a necessity, so long as he was able to act, a mindset instilled by his father. Mamori criticizes this mentallity, and suggests he perform a "food check" to help eleviate the situation. After Itsuki performs a demonstration, Yashiro is able to understand that he needs to properly convey his feelings to the audience, causing his Performa to awaken. After performing a Radiant Unity, Navarre admits that he didn't say anything during Yashiro's hunger because he too felt it wasn't necessary to eat, and they both agree that there is still much to learn. Afterwards, Yashiro guest-stars on Mamori's show "Microwavin' with Mamorin", where he provides a food check on her cooking. Itsuki notes Yashiro's shift in personality on the show, which he attributes to his status as a professional actor.
Completing this side story unlocks Yashiro's Ad-lib Performance The Hungry Man.
