—Edelgard, on Claude's siege tactics
The Triumph of Valor is the fourth chapter of the Scarlet Blaze route of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, and the seventh overall. Paralogue chapters will be available for the first time starting with this map.
Story[]
With the Empire's victory at the Great Bridge of Myrddin, Claude rallies most of his former Golden Deer classmates (minus Leonie) to help defend Riegan territory from the advancing Imperial army and put more pressure on Count Bergliez to surrender. To this end, he hires Byleth and Jeralt's Mercenaries to reinforce the Alliance army and catch Edelgard by surprise.
Edelgard meets with her generals and warns them that Claude has left numerous traps and ambushes between them and their attempt to break through to rescue Count Bergliez's forces before they succumb to starvation.

The Imperial army fights its way into Riegan territory and breaks the Alliance's siege, allowing Count Bergliez and his army to escape. While they are busy fighting Claude, Count Bergliez duels Byleth long enough to weaken them for Shez to attack.
As Shez and Byleth are locked in a duel, Byleth struggles to resist Sothis' control over them, which angers Sothis and confuses Jeralt, who worries that something may have happened to Byleth as he sees the results of Byleth's Awakening. Shez begins to reconsider their own vendetta against Byleth, thinking it would be smarter in the long run to join forces and bury their rivalry.
The Imperial army turns its attention back to the Kingdom, where they learn that Dimitri has raised an army to root out any lords who defected to the Empire, including Count Rowe, who is stationed at the fortress city of Arianrhod.
Recruitment[]
- Raphael, Lysithea, and Marianne can be recruited during the main quest "The Blitz of Riegan" by using the appropriate "Persuade" strategies (cost 10 Strategic Resource points each), then defeating them. Ignatz must be deployed as an active unit in order to recruit Raphael.
