“A staff that can open chests.”
—In-game description, Shin Monshō

The Thief Staff (シーフの杖 Shīfu no tsue) is a recurring Staff from the Fire Emblem series.

In Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, it is a personal Staff of Marisha, and allows her to open any chest on a map, regardless of the range between her and the chest.

In Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, it is usable exclusively by Tina, and it allows her to steal a selected item from any enemy unit on the map, provided that her Magic is higher than that of said unit.

This staff appears as unused data in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, and can only be obtained through the employment of cheat codes. In this game, the staff allows it user to steal Gold from a selected enemy unit.
