FE4 Chapter 6 - Light Inheritors Crop Tirnanog

Tirnanog as it appears in Chapter 6.

Tirnanog (ティルナノグ, Tirunanogu) is a location in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. A small town in the farthest reaches of northwestern Isaach, it appears in Chapter 6 as the place where Seliph and the other children were raised under the care of Edain, Shannan, and Oifey after the Battle of Belhalla. It is also the starting location for Generation 2, where Danann sends his troops to kill Seliph and stamp out the growing resistance to the Grannvale Empire.

History[]

It is unclear when Tirnanog was founded, but it is established enough by the events of the game to have a convent and to be able to support the refugees of the Battle of Belhalla. That said, at the time Seliph and the others arrived, in Grann 760 at the earliest and Grann 761 at the latest, Tirnanog was still an isolated and insignificant town. A short time after Seliph's arrival, Edain moved to Tirnanog with her children, becoming the abbess of the convent there. Though separated by a great distance from the rest of Jugdral's politics, Tirnanog remains connected enough to hear of the abuses suffered by other towns in Isaach at the hand of the Grannvale Empire. In Grann 777, Danann invaded the town while in hopes of destroying the threat of rebellion. Despite the potentially disastrous absence of Oifey and Shannan, Seliph rises to the call and leads the resistance against Danann, defeating him in order to protect Tirnanog. Thus began the liberation of Isaach.
