Tomas is a character from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. He is the librarian of Garreg Mach Monastery.

Profile[]

Tomas has served as Garreg Mach Monastery's librarian for over 40 years and is a faithful follower of the Church of Seiros. He is knowledgeable about the books stored in the library, as well as the monastery's general affairs. He was originally recommended to the Church by House Ordelia. For a period of several years, Tomas retired to his home in the Ordelia territory. However, he returned to the monastery in 1179, the year prior to the beginning of Three Houses, to retake his former position.

In reality, the "Tomas" encountered in the story is a disguised Solon. It is theorised by Seteth that Solon killed the real Tomas and assumed his identity, unable to believe that Tomas would betray the Church after his many years of service.

Etymology[]

Tomas in an Aramaic biblical name. It's held by the Apostle of Christ who doubted His resurrection until he placed his finger in the wounds of the savior. It is also held by the famous Scholastic theologian Thomas Aquinas, to whom this character most likely refers given the age portrayed.
