The Torch Staff (トーチの杖 Tōchi no Tsue) is a recurring Staff in the Fire Emblem Series. When cast, this staff allows its wielder to illuminate the shadows that are inherent within Fog of War battlefields within a certain range. The area illuminated by the staff is exactly the same as a regular Torch - Three spaces from the point of origin and lessening with every subsequent player phase.

In GBA games, this staff is particularly useful for raising Staff rank for promoted magic users, as it is fairly cheap, gives a lot of weapon experience, and can be freely spammed on Fog of War maps.
