Toru Osawa is a producer at Nintendo, having worked at the company since the 1980's. He is best known for creating the NES game, Kid Icarus and co-directing the N64 title, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Osawa worked as a designer on Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, and created the character art for the title. In 2017, Osawa returned to the franchise at the request of Hitoshi Yamagami to create the artwork for the April Fool's Day prank, Fire Emblem: Battle of Revolution.
