Ulki (ウルキ, Uruki) is a character in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. He serves as the 'ears' of Tibarn, the Hawk king. He is a Hawk Laguz, a member of the bird tribe. He serves in the army of Phoenicis, the kingdom of Hawk Laguz . He often travels with his trusted and older companion, Janaff.

Ulki, in contrast to Janaff, is more reserved and quiet, fitting his position as the king's ears. Despite his rather stern appearance and reclusive personality, it is revealed through his support conversations that he has a kind heart and tries to help his friends as best he can.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Ulki appears in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn in Part 3, Chapter 7. He comes at level 28 with a Satori Sign, sent to protect Reyson.

Support Conversations

In his support conversation with Rhys , Rhys mentions how amazed he is by Ulki's flying abilities. Ulki is taken aback a bit by this, mostly because he took his flying skill for granted. Ulki and Rhys end up training together so that Rhys can get to his patients more efficiently. Eventually, Ulki becomes tired from overtraining and Rhys apologizes, thinking that he pushed Ulki too far. Ulki enjoyed making Rhys so happy, and promises to give Rhys a ride some time in the future.

In his support conversations with Boyd , he was suspicious in the beginning, when Boyd is friendly to him. But in the end, he realized how hard he had been on Boyd and admitted that he had never let Boyd in on his real thoughts in case Boyd had been trying to harm the Laguz . However, in the end he became friendly with Boyd and let go of some of his prejudice against Beorc .
