The Umbrella (洋傘 Yōgasa, lit. Western Umbrella) is a Sword that is introduced in Fire Emblem Fates. A joke weapon that literally takes on the appearance of an intricately-designed parasol, the Umbrella is not suited for combat due to its low Might.
The Umbrella is in some ways a weaker version of the Wakizashi, since both weapons restrict the user from doubling opponents and allow the opponent to have a better chance at doubling them. However, its ability to attack from 1-2 range away gives it flexibility of use. The Umbrella has the advantage of being able to activate skills unlike the Kodachi, however it lacks the Might that the Kodachi has.
