Fire Emblem: Awakening Character PagesEdit

Hi, I noticed that you have been editing character pages for Fire Emblem: Awakening. Can you do a favor for me and make a slight tweak to your manual of style? The first one would be to simplify the coding source as much as possible (ie. no extra spaces in the source, such as "Marth 8 spaces is 3 spaces..."). You can get a better idea by looking at my edits or the edits of Aivass Remurias. I am just asking for a couple of tweaks to you editing. Also, please do not insert blank sections. That suggests a lack of effort. Good luck! --Thenewguy34(Other) 12:17, November 28, 2012 (UTC)

A Late WelcomeEdit

Hi there! I regret not having coming over here and saying "hi" earlier. Thanks for all the great edits to the Awakening pages, in addition to creating some great pages for that game, as well! I also wanted to mention that editing with the Monobook skin will be much more conducive to editing rather than just reading the Wikia. That, and the Wikia (or rather Oasis) skin you are using now has some quirkiness, in that it tends to add unnecessary coding to pages and has a lot of annoying graphical ads. Basically, Oasis is the default skin for the everyday, viewing public. You can change to Monobook by going to "my preferences" and selecting the "Monobook" option. I would encourage you to try it out if you want to make editing easier. Let me know if you need help (or whatever) with anything else on here. Happy editing!--Aivass Remurias (talk) 02:34, December 7, 2012 (UTC)

You are editing a lot more heavily now (and great by the way), and I still highly encourage you to give Monobook a shot. It is built for a non-casual editor in mind, is simpler, and doesn't insert extraneous code into pages automatically. For how to do that, see my older above message. It's pretty easy, actually. Thanks for all your contributions!--Aivass Remurias (talk) 22:31, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

Okay! I'll give it a try! Not a problem! Just trying to get this site ready for Awakening's American debut!--Nauibotics (talk) 22:33, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

My sincere thanks for your efforts. You are doing splendid work.--Aivass Remurias (talk) 23:50, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

Please let me know on my talkpage if you have any questions at all about using Monobook. I know it is different from what you are used to, so I want to let you know I am willing to help with any and all questions you may have or help you may need. =)--Aivass Remurias (talk) 23:59, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

Well it's the same format like when I do edits for Bulbapedia so it's a pretty easy adjustment. Though I guess I haven't done as much edits on Bulbapedia as I'm doing for FE wikia. Anyways, always willing to lend a hand for a good cause. I'll probably be much more busy with the edits starting Monday.--Nauibotics (talk) 00:05, February 2, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks!Edit

That's lovely work you are doing on the FE13 characters! I appreciate the effort you are putting into them. Nice adjustments, I might add! =)--Aivass Remurias (talk) 20:58, January 6, 2013 (UTC)

About moving pagesEdit

When you move a page, please fix the links. As the person doing the move, you are the one held responsible to making sure that everything links in it's right place. Don't just move it and leave it.--Otherarrow (talk) 21:27, January 29, 2013 (UTC)

Ah, sorry my bad! I forgot to do it on the individual character pages! I'll keep that in mind for future edits.--Nauibotics (talk) 21:31, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
No problems. If you need any help, feel free to ask. Also, with these skill moves, do you have Awakening? I heard it came out early in Canada or the like.--Otherarrow (talk) 21:39, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
Wish I did, but I'll have it first thing on monday whenever gamestop opens. But for now, most of my edits have come from Nintendo Youtube videos. Today they gave info on the reclassing system so majority of my info is comming from there--Nauibotics (talk) 21:48, January 29, 2013 (UTC)

Icons in class templates.Edit

It isn't going to work. Sorry. For one, not every class has skills from the same game, and not every skill has an icon. It may seem like it works for the Dark Mage and pals, but it won't work in the long run.--Otherarrow (talk) 23:47, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

I realize this sounded much ruder than the reply I gave on my page. Sorry about that.--Otherarrow (talk) 00:10, February 2, 2013 (UTC)
Nah no worries, I understand. I wasn't offended. I'll just stick to the localization updates for now. In hindsight, you were right since we'd have to put ALL the older icons, not just the Awakening if we did the idea that I had. It's a nice idea, but not very practical--Nauibotics (talk) 00:13, February 2, 2013 (UTC)

"Gender Neutral" PronounsEdit

I disagree with your opinion on "gender neutral" pronouns. Rather than being "gender neutral," they are the plural forms of subjects. There is only one Avatar in the story line, not two, three, or what have you. Replacing "s/he" with "them," for example, is merely bad and ignorant grammar. Normally, a single gender is picked to represent this sort of situation, but seeing as this is not an essay, the subject should be replaced with a proper "s/he" or "himself/herself" to represent the subject since the Avatar can be either gender depending on what sex the player picked. But if you still prefer to stick to your opinion, I won't change anymore of this mediocre writing.

Young Lion Roy (talk) 00:37, February 20, 2013 (UTC)

I get your opinion, and it's not wrong, and sorry that my own personal opinion conflicts with yours since I'm the one who did most of the original postings for that page. If it really bugs you I'd suggest putting this up with Otherarrow or another moderator for this wiki rather than me and see what they say. I mean they didn't do the kind of edit you did after, but if they feel it should be your way, then I have no arguments there, however for now, let's just leave it the way it is until you get an official word. Nauibotics (talk) 01:36, February 20, 2013 (UTC)

Children Characters OverallEdit

I figured that since you do a ton of work on Awakening articles, I should ask you. I feel a bit overwhelmed when trying to think up of a basic outline of overall and reclassing for children characters. I was trying to use Laurent as my guinea pig, as his male parent (ie. Gregor or Lon'qu can potentially give him access to Swordfaire, which would be useful if he becomes a Dark Knight. But then I would have to mention potential options for every possible combination of parents, which is downright annoying. Which is why I ask you if you could come up with an idea on how to write up these sections. --Thenewguy34(Other) 01:35, February 28, 2013 (UTC)

The children are difficult for me to scale as well, Lucina was my guinea pig since she only has 5 potential mothers. I'm not sure how to exactly scale how to handle each of the children in particular. I really don't know what we can actually do to contribute to them for now, I mean I'm solely focusing on the parent characters first since they are a lot easier. Unfortunately for now I can't really help on this matter, but once I get a sense of how to format the characters, I'll hit you up.Nauibotics (talk) 02:25, February 28, 2013 (UTC)

Stat ModifierEdit

Wait, so you have these numbers already? Because Stahl's seems way off to not have an overall bonus, when seemingly everyone else does.KainDarkfire (talk) 02:04, March 14, 2013 (UTC)

SerenesForest has it all already. You should go there for the data.Nauibotics (talk) 02:08, March 14, 2013 (UTC)
Looking at your note on Lon'qus edit, "Argh, his Mag/Def/Res growths take forever (I'm expecting -1 to each, actually), but holy wow, +3 Skill and Speed. Also noting that his children still get +1 in Str from him, even if he doesn't." You don't seem to be aware there is a blanket bonus to all 2nd gen characters. They get +1 in all caps. But Morgan does not get the bonus if Morgans mother/father is a child character already. And yeah, SF already has all of this info. L95 (talk) 11:07, March 14, 2013 (UTC)
That actually wasn't me, I just fixed whatever KainDarkFire put. But yeah, SerenesForest is pretty darn reliable to info. --Nauibotics (talk) 11:19, March 14, 2013 (UTC)
That's who I was talking to XD ...Though, this is your tallk page. >.< Whoops. Sorry.L95 (talk) 12:55, March 14, 2013 (UTC)
Not a problem bro XD--Nauibotics (talk) 21:19, March 14, 2013 (UTC)

Pavise and AegisEdit

Pavise is learned by Generals and not Paladins. Paladins learn Aegis. Just to remind you. --Thenewguy34(Other) 11:03, April 16, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, sorry. I got the names mixed up.-Nauibotics (talk) 19:30, April 16, 2013 (UTC)

Harvest ScrambleEdit

I figured it might go there, but wasn't sure.  Guess I can just post up the ones I currently have and see what format the admins might it in I guess.NintendoGamerCole (talk) 22:33, April 27, 2013 (UTC)NintendoGamerCole

How shall I do it exactly since there's multiple characters in this section with conversations?  Should I just seperate each character by headers or?  Right now I'm just working on bolding each name and bullet pointing them.NintendoGamerCole (talk) 22:42, April 27, 2013 (UTC)NintendoGamerCole

How's it looking so far?  Took me a second to figure out I needed to use the headers. The preceding unsigned comment was added by NintendoGamerCole (talk • contribs).

Thank YouEdit

Thank you for restoring that Marth page. It was really difficult for me to find the correct page to restore it. If you're a admin or moderator, can you protect the page or contact the admins to see if they can change it's protection level? Maybe they should go block new and unregistered users perhaps? But thank you for restoring Marth's page.--Limexialia (talk) 09:02, July 7, 2013 (UTC)Limexialia

Not a problem, I'm used to restoring pages after massive trolling/vandalism waves from previous events like this one on this site. And no I'm not a admin or mod. If you want, you can take this up to Otherarrow who is the only admin I know of who is managing this site.—Nauibotics (talk) 10:18, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

Showing AppreciationEdit

You are doing such a great job with the FE13 pages, and have continued to make sure they are more or less kept in order, which has definitely not gone unnoticed. I wanted to show my appreciation for your work, and look forward to you continuing to edit with us. A whole lot goes into adding a new entry in the the franchise to this site, and you have greatly helped with that process. I'm glad you're around. =) Thank you. ^_^--Aivass Remurias (talk) 05:44, August 2, 2013 (UTC)

Ah, think nothing of it. I'm glad to assist in any way possible. To be honest, it's kind of fun monitoring the Awakening pages. They're like my children, so to speak, since a lot of them were heavily edited by me. But anyways, I'll be around for a long time to keep them clean and to finish off what I've started for most pages.—Nauibotics (talk) 11:01, August 2, 2013 (UTC)

Excellent. =) The more experienced users, the better our content.--Aivass Remurias (talk) 20:53, August 2, 2013 (UTC)

RalliesEdit

Hey, you did a nice job editing the article. I created it to collect info already available on the wiki to make it easier for gamers to create strategies.

What I did not like is that you removed the "Promotes from" part. For me, it has been really tedious to get this info because this wiki has too much information and it inevitably gets confusing. The purpose of the "Promotes from" part was saving time avoiding the need of looking info in every class to know how to get that class, because when you use the second seal to reclass, it doesn't tell you what's the second class of that basic class. What do you think? Kyogre123 (talk) 06:21, October 28, 2013 (UTC)

What classes lead to the classes that learn Rally skills is not really necessary and pretty irrelevant to that page. If people want to know they can just click through other pages especially the List of classes in Fire Emblem: Awakening or the List of Skills in Fire Emblem: Awakening, both really good pages that simplifies and outlines all skills and classes without having to search through each individual page for the classes. Also a few things were missing anyways such as the Warrior base classes which is not only Barbarian, but also fighter or the sage being a promotion for both Cleric and Mage. But other than that I'm surprised I didn't create that page nor did anyone else by now and i thank you for creating it.—Nauibotics (talk) 06:53, October 28, 2013 (UTC)

A thank you and a question about European text: Edit

Hello, Nauibotics! Just wanted to thank you for the clean-up/rewrite of the bit I wrote on the Fire Emblem: Awakening Manga page. I wrote Lissa's Tale more in depth than the others as I was initially going to write up a summary of all the other stories as well later. But you did such a good job, I don't think I need too! (Unless you think it is a good idea, of course!)

I also wanted to ask you about the use of European text from the PAL version of Awakening. I know that European text alterations are often mentioned in character conversations (example; Tharja/Nowi in Harvest Scramble and in Kellem/Lissa S Support) with a little 'EU:' header. I noticed that you corrected someone's edit that contained Panne's European quotes while buying/selling at the shop. Do those quotes not have the European alternative underneath them because it serves little purpose to character development (unlike the character conversations), and thus cluttering up the page unnecessarily? Just curious as for notice around editing the wiki. Thanks again! Evacino (talk) 23:21, January 5, 2014 (UTC)

No problem on the Manga page thing! As for the PAL additions to the page, that's not something I can say on behalf of the wiki's intentions. If anything Otherarrow would be a better person to consult for this issue. In terms of the edit undo, the main thing is that the NOA version remains since it came out in NOA before PAL. Whether or not we also add the PAL lines is up to Otherarrow. Of course doing so mean that we'll have to add a TON of more lines to each page which, as you said, may make things more cluttered and wordy. Supports are fine since that's one of those extra pages which not everyone will see, but the main character pages are another thing.—Nauibotics (talk) 04:47, January 6, 2014 (UTC)
Thank you very much! That makes a lot of sense. Just wanted to know in case I may have wanted to contribute to something similar in the future! It's weird how some things in the European version are different, but a lot of it is still the same as the North American version. Evacino (talk) 10:04, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Generic Support variations. Edit

Thanks for rewording my Libra trivia better, Nauibotics! It's a lot clearer to read through now! I considered writing that it was due to being a generic conversation between father/child, but the thing that put me off was that in Henry/Gerome supports, Henry does understand what Minerva is saying. Henry dismisses it as that 'he can, she just mumbled'. I just find it odd that they acknowledged Henry's understanding but not the other characters. So basically this comment is just to confirm that minor changes like this are still considered 'generic' among supports, as I believe I had seen another support that deviates similarly as well. This is just so it is easier for me in case I make other support-related edits around the wiki.Evacino (talk) 22:04, July 6, 2014 (UTC)

The Serra Robin thingy Edit

Robin's pink alt clothing does have the same colors as Serra's. http://i.imgur.com/lK9Dsku.jpg Light purple with dark purple accents(the cape in her battle sprite and the trim at the bottom of her dress) and pink hair. L95 (talk) 05:53, October 17, 2014 (UTC)

Sorry if I came off as rude. Well I'm still not entirely convinced, but I suppose it is plausible. It's certainly not as obvious as Ike, Marth, and Lucina's referential palette swaps. For now, if you want to put it back up I won't undo it since I guess Serra has the closest color set like Pink Robin, but I'm a little curious to the other one that is a little hard to tag, namely the red/white Male robin. The smash wikis say it's a White Mage allusion but I don't think so, but I cannot find any FE character who has those colors. The other ones are a little easier to tag to like blue and green Male Robin are Ephraim/Virion and Stahl/Abel respectively while Yellow and Red Robin are Briggid and Anna respectively.-Nauibotics (talk) 09:21, October 17, 2014 (UTC)

Awakening Death QuotesEdit

Nice to see someone picking that up, though I am curious outside of the children characters in their respective Paralogues if any of the other characters have different ones in their own chapters as well? Would you happen to know? Xenomic (talk) 05:15, November 1, 2014 (UTC)

To my knowledge, characters only have unique death quotes when they are NPC or Enemy characters on the map they are recruited on. I believe the only child character who doesn't have a special death quote is Laurent since he's never an NPC on his map. To my knowledge, Kellam, Libra, Tharja, Say'ri, Tiki, Gangrel, Emmeryn, Yen'fay, and Aversa all have unique death quotes as well because they are NPC/Enemy Recruited characters.-Nauibotics (talk) 06:26, November 1, 2014 (UTC)
Ah yes, I know of Tiki's since I've read up on her page. Surprised Nowi doesn't get one, since she shouldn't even know Chrom at that point at all (same with Gregor), and I know that her quotes have Chrom involved in them IIRC. Xenomic (talk) 08:53, November 1, 2014 (UTC)

Hair IDEdit

What do you think of us possibly making hair color based categories? Like for example Lute or Marisa from Sacred Stones being "Purple-haired characters". talk2ty 05:57, January 3, 2015 (UTC)

An interesting category but it has no affect on gameplay or is really relevant to the series. Plus that is a HUGE ammont of work to implement the categories since there are hundreds of characters in the FE series. Not only that The Avatars for both Shin Monsho no Nazo and Awakening have no "fixed" hair color and neither do most of the Awakening characters. Although I'm not an admin for this wiki, my opinion is that we will not make the category.—Nauibotics (talk) 06:44, January 3, 2015 (UTC)
Totally on board with Nauibotics' thoughts on this matter. The category is unnecessary really.--Aivass Remurias (talk) 12:33, January 6, 2015 (UTC)

Edit IssueEdit

can you stop disrupting the fire emblem if article. thanks. 123.224.250.244 06:08, April 2, 2015 (UTC)

No. Because what I'm doing is correct with the Wiki's standards of making pages. Also do not delete my user talk page. You do not have the right to do that—Nauibotics (talk) 06:13, April 2, 2015 (UTC)

can you stop deleting edits on the fire emblem if article? thanks 123.224.250.244 06:14, April 2, 2015 (UTC)

also, NOTE, do not ignore this message. thanks. 123.224.250.244 06:14, April 2, 2015 (UTC)

You have no right on this wiki to be doing what you are doing. Stop deleting what I'm doing or else I will report you to an admin.—Nauibotics (talk) 06:16, April 2, 2015 (UTC)

you have been reported for disruptive editing Nauibotics. This is your final warning: please stop. Kagamiwaseda (talk) 06:19, April 2, 2015 (UTC)

How about YOU stop being a disruptive editor. You cannot take control of this wiki when you have not put in as much time into the site as I have. YOU have been reported directly to an admin. Until this situation is sorted out I will KEEP on reverting your edits because they are taking away things that DO belong on the pages. Other than that have a nice day.—Nauibotics (talk) 06:22, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
I have reported you Nauibotics to Otherarrow. Hopefully this will calm your behavior. Your language is not acceptable. "How long" you have been on the site does not matter. Your edits are disruptive, and just because you have been on the site "a long time" does not entitle you to do that. Thanks. Kagamiwaseda (talk) 06:26, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
So have I Kagami. First off, I'm just doing what I've been doing on this site for a long time, I know the quality of edits the wiki uses, much more than you think you know. Second, I have not insulted you nor used unprofessional language. Third, your edits are redundant, inaccurate, and also deleting certain things on the page like the official banner from the Japanese site for the game on the page. Fourth, as per Wiki rules, you are not allowed to delete content from a user's page unless you are an admin or a moderator, neither of which you are. You have been violating the rules, not me. I'm leaving this up to Otherarrow because he's in charge. He will sort out this situation. Have a nice day.—Nauibotics (talk) 06:31, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
Correction. I was the one who added the "official banner from the Japanese site for the game on the page". You are the one who repeatedly keeps deleting it. The Fire Emblem if page is not your personal wiki page, no matter how much you feel like you are entitled to it. Have a nice day. Kagamiwaseda (talk) 06:33, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
No, Jupiterknight added that photo, not you. Secondly, tracing all of my revert shows that I keep putting the image back on the page. Your undos are whats taking it off. I could turn that same quote about the fire emblem page not being your personal page back at you. I'm not saying your edits are bad, they are just redundant when they are stated below on the page. Leave the issue to Otherarrow, stop the edit war. Leave it as my current version and if Otherarrow feels that your version is better, he will revert it to your version. Leave it to the Admin to solve this issue rather than trying to take it into what you believe is the right way. You have no authority to tell me what is right or wrong. I have my experience with the wiki and as far as I can tell, I've been doing it the correct way. Leave this issue to Otherarrow to solve, don't be an agent of your own self-proclaimed right and wrong.—Nauibotics (talk) 06:41, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
Agreed. Let's leave it as my version (the original version, the one that originally added the release information, which you later deleted without comment), and let the admins sort it out. Also, by your comment that it is in the middle of the night for you, I take it you live in America? It is only 3:42 in the afternoon here. Perhaps you should go to sleep and let the admins sort it out. Have a nice day (or night). Kagamiwaseda (talk) 06:43, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
Except you are deleting things that are important, like the returning features, and for the fact that again, your section is just repeating what is stated in the Release section. And in realty, I didn't delete your original section for the version I keep on reverting it to. I rephrased it and added it to that section to fit the style of the wiki. Regardless of time, you are about 5 hours difference from me. I can stay up as far as I need to to sort out this issue. —Nauibotics (talk) 06:47, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
Correction: your edits just repeat what I have already said, hence are redundant, as you have noted. Also, I will also report to Otherarrow that you explicitly stated to me that you would "stay up all night" just to edit war. It is currently 3:50 in the afternoon here in Japan. Have a good night. Kagamiwaseda (talk) 06:50, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
You really are not gonna drop this are you? I'm through here. I made a compromise on the page that benefits both you and I in this dispute, Otherarrow will sort this out from here on out. Otherarrow can see this conversation and whatever he gets out off this and the page edit war will be his opinion alone, not mine nor your. Whatever the result is, deal with it as I will, no matter what Otherarrow deems is the way it should be, okay? We cool? edit by the way, you might want to check the spelling of your section. The Dark Night Kingdom is localized as Nohr, not Nour—Nauibotics (talk) 06:56, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
Okay, now that I had time to calm myself down and look over the situation, I think I figured out a way that will solve this issue, at least the editing issue, without needing Otherarrow's input. I will edit your section to be a little more in line with the wiki. However, there still is the issue of you deleting my talk page because you are not allowed to clear any of my pages unless you're an admin.—Nauibotics (talk) 07:11, April 2, 2015 (UTC)

FeliciaEdit

Nauibotics, why do you keep changing my points 1. You're contradicting your own points 2. You're the only one who's changing my bit on Felicia

She's been confirmed for both routes so yes she doesn't belong to either country but because she's in both routes that makes her a main character as she is always with Avatar and Aqua.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused and therefore I will stop editing Felicia.

if PageEdit

Yeah, I figured I might've placed the information weirdly. Sorry for the inconvenience. LicLac (talk) 20:00, April 29, 2015 (UTC)

Nah don't worry. It was fine, just needed to be correctly posted.—Nauibotics (talk) 20:21, April 29, 2015 (UTC)

Man, I have a lot to learn about where I'm placing information. My apologies for the trouble! LicLac (talk) 21:31, April 29, 2015 (UTC)

It comes from working on the wiki as long as I and others have done. Don't worry about it. it's no trouble at all.—Nauibotics (talk) 21:32, April 29, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, I guess you're right. LicLac (talk) 12:53, May 2, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah apparently it's supposed to use stability instead of usage. Ajitunes13

Leon?Edit

I never get the hang of these messages... anywho, I think he may have referred to http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?s=5e384e8636de33d83271e56998c99845&showtopic=53567  Not sure if that counts as a source. Do we assume that his name is Leon for the time being? LicLac (talk) 19:28, May 6, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, I went into the SF forums right after and saw. For the most part it seems credible, though they haven't announced it on the main page of Serenesforest since they are trying to deem if its credible. It seems like it is most likely his name, but for now, until they confirm it on the SF main site, we'll leave him unlisted for now.—Nauibotics (talk) 19:47, May 6, 2015 (UTC)

Duly noted.LicLac (talk) 19:51, May 6, 2015 (UTC)

Sorry about what happened on Aqua's page...I tought that it was supposed to be capitalized since it was the game's title...23:39, May 7, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for editing Aqua's page. I guess my trivia was kind of clumsily written due to the hype of new information.LicLac (talk) 21:45, May 8, 2015 (UTC)

Nah, it's fine. It was worth noting. Also thanks for putting up Leon's stuff already. I really hate having to wait for confirmation and I hate having to revert stuff that is true, but we've dealt with false images on SF that made it onto the wiki temporarily.—Nauibotics (talk) 21:54, May 8, 2015 (UTC)

Not a problem, it was a quick edit. And aye, I understand; always best to check if the source is reliable. Hopefully more fans will be able to get their hands on official names for characters fairly soon.

Also, I should let you know that the "felicia-mover" did his usual thing earlier.LicLac (talk) 22:07, May 8, 2015 (UTC)

Nah, it was a different IP addrees. Otherarrow banned the one that was frequently doing it, though it'll wear off tomorrow so they might return.—Nauibotics (talk) 22:24, May 8, 2015 (UTC)

Ah... That's peachy. Well, I'll be on lookout and undo any changes regarding Felicia as soon as I spot them.

Well it's the rules of the wiki for banning. If either of those two IP addresses add Felicia to Hoshido again, undo the edit then report it to Otherarrow.—Nauibotics (talk) 22:31, May 8, 2015 (UTC)

Revenant Knight ProofEdit

Naui, you're my favourite person on here and I respect you very much, but I'm gonna have to ask you for a link to this "Revenant Knight" and "Rod Knight" thingamajing stuff you added/edited. I have not the faintest clue of what's going on with this.LicLac (talk) 18:49, May 12, 2015 (UTC)

Right here: http://serenesforest.net/2015/05/12/fire-emblem-famitsu-leak-phoenix-mode/#more-26411—Nauibotics (talk) 18:52, May 12, 2015 (UTC)

Oh, thank you! This cleared things up a bit! Gods, I'm so hyped right now!LicLac (talk) 18:59, May 12, 2015 (UTC)

Not a problem. There appears to be more information coming soon so we'll see what happens. It's an early leak and there's still information I can see on the images, but they're too blurry for me or apparently others to see. Like the one unit on the second page.—Nauibotics (talk) 19:02, May 12, 2015 (UTC)

Not sure which one you mean - the one with grey, spiky hair? That's most likely the cavalier we've seen in screenshots/trailers, both as an enemy and a playable unit.LicLac (talk) 19:09, May 12, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah that one. I was gonna add the name to the unconfirmed affiliations, but I can't read it because it's super blurry. —Nauibotics (talk) 19:17, May 12, 2015 (UTC)
edit: nvm. I realized that the name is Kamui and the actual unit's name is obscured by a tag.—Nauibotics (talk) 19:20, May 12, 2015 (UTC)

Hm... I can't make it out either, I'm afraid. On another note, should we add the part about Aqua being Nohr's princess kidnapped by Hoshido that's also mentioned? Or do we wait with that one?LicLac (talk) 19:21, May 12, 2015 (UTC)

The article mentions that it hasn't been confirmed, but noted. We'll wait on that info to add it.—Nauibotics (talk) 19:22, May 12, 2015 (UTC)

Famitsu stuffEdit

Yeah sorry about that, I kind of jumped the gun a bit there. I just thought that they would be those classes as their sprites heavily imply it and the Japanese, with exceptions of Revenant Knight, pretty much translates to them.

Yeah, it's easy to assume before, don't worry, it's minor. I actually did some checking myself for the purpose for this. For example, Sakura's class reads Miko rather than Sister like the cleric class is normally called in Japanese.—Nauibotics (talk) 18:44, May 13, 2015 (UTC)

Ryoma Edit

Hey Naui! I just wanted to ask, do we add that Ryoma is a Trueblade class? It has been confirmed after all, even though it might just be a renamed Swordmaster - just wanted to let you know. Cheers, mate!LicLac (talk) 22:39, May 13, 2015 (UTC)

Source? Edit: Nvm. I saw. Trueblade will be added to his page shortly—Nauibotics (talk) 22:44, May 13, 2015 (UTC)

Well, the Famitsu 14th of May leak on Serenes Forest, along with any other information that's already up. :3LicLac (talk) 22:47, May 13, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah I went and checked it out already. It's been added. —Nauibotics (talk) 22:55, May 13, 2015 (UTC)

New Character Edit

Hey, man! I noticed people adding new character names, do you by any chance happen to have a link to any page I've might have missed? I know about the Japanese direct, but I seem to miss out. If it's not too much trouble, of course!

Not a problem. https://youtu.be/XUxgnYVD_-Q?t=7m43s. The name is on the lower right hand corner.—Nauibotics (talk) 17:54, May 31, 2015 (UTC)

Many thanks!LicLac (talk) 18:02, May 31, 2015 (UTC)

I'll be honest, I wasn't thinking things through when I edited it out. My apologies for the inconvenience.LicLac (talk) 19:32, June 1, 2015 (UTC)

Nah it's fine, it was bound to find snags like that. Just needs better editing from all of us.—Nauibotics (talk) 19:41, June 1, 2015 (UTC)

Asama/AmasaEdit

If its Asama then why do serenes forest and a few others show it as Amasa. Someone is reading it wrong.

Trust me, it says アサマ (Asama) clearly in the My Castle Trailer. Someone read it wrong and its spreading around under the wrong name. Plus it's not on the actual if Character page so even more so someone is reading it wrong and not me. Look here: https://youtu.be/uhmCEapreUA?t=11m4s. Bottom right hand corner it says アサマ not アマサ—Nauibotics (talk) 00:38, June 7, 2015 (UTC)

Dont worry Nauibotics. Edit

You know, the felicia page still needs work from you. I am very sure that it is best if you keep up with the info for felicia. It is now confirmed that felicia follows kamui no matter what side.

Aslo, those two idiots who bashed you for doing your job, when I read that section of your talk page, they likely had their mouthes filled to the brim with salt. LittleEngines747 (talk) 03:14, June 7, 2015 (UTC)LittleEngines747

Owain's editEdit

Owain's edit, what did you mean "wouldn't explain every other situation" by his having fell blood and exalt blood. the second bullet was merly speculation since the avatar could possibly be his father. it's just a theory for that specific pairing between lissa and the avatar pertainig to owain since he is constantly going on about boiling blood. for any other pairing it wouldnt make sense but for that specific pairing it makes perfect sense.

He's not always the Avatar's son. It wouldn't explain anything if he was, say Lon'qu's son or Donnel's son. He always mentions his "blood boiling" with every single one of is fathers. Hence not notable.—Nauibotics (talk) 18:55, June 23, 2015 (UTC)
I know he isnt always the Avatars son, which is why it said "coincidently" and why it was put in the section concerning him being the offspring of the avatar and only mentioned things regarding both the fell dragon bloodine (avatar's family) and the exalt bloodline which he would be part of. Since its contained to that very specific set of conditions the fact that he has two opposing bloodines could "coincidently" be the cause of his blood boiling.
If it was a unique trait only to his relationship with the Avatar as his father it's notable. Since he does it with his any of his fathers nonetheless, it isn't. We already discussed something like this a few years back since all of the parent-child conversations for their non-determinate parents are generic.—Nauibotics (talk) 20:31, June 23, 2015 (UTC)
Alright while I personally believe its noteworthy for the specific conditions surrounding his lineage and think it somewhat explains his behaviour, i've learned enough from previously trying to edit wikis to know that it'll never be added to the page. anyways peace.
Well here's another thing. It's only a personality quirk unique to Owain. If Lucina or Morgan displayed some similar characteristics as a result of being Exalted and Fell blood mix, then even more so it would be notable. Since it's not, it's merely Owain being his usual unusual self.—Nauibotics (talk) 21:04, June 23, 2015 (UTC)

PolicingEdit

Please stop policing my edits. I understand you have your own opinions, but Owain (Odin) is both in Awakening and Fates. Should the Fates Avatar marry his daughter, Ophelia, he can have Kanna, who will then be Lissa's great-granddaughter.

Besides, all I'm putting in is some fun trivia, not world-ending spoilers, alright?

SuperKamek (talk) 01:49, February 13, 2016 (UTC) SuperKamek

Please understand that this is something that Overarrow determined, who is the main admin of this wiki. There already has been edits like yours before that Otherarrow has reverted as well. I'm not doing it to be cruel or anything to you, but it's just me doing my job on this wiki.—Nauibotics (talk) 02:16, February 13, 2016 (UTC)
Alright, I understand. Why is it that any admin I come across are all the same; no nonsense seriousness. Not trying to offend you, I swear! But think about it: most admins out there don't take crap from no one. I've never met one that began a warning with a friendly "Hey" or "Hello". Just... straight-to-the-point.
Sorry, I'm getting off topic. I'll stop editing pages if your grand overlord admin or whatever says so.
SuperKamek (talk) 02:39, February 13, 2016 (UTC)
For the record, I think that making connections that the game itself doesn't make just goes too much into fanwank territory. Like, comparing Soleil to Olivia is fine, since she has her grandmother's headband. That's a thing of note for the character. Saying that an Awakening character can potentially be the grandmother or even great-grandmother of an otherwise unrelated Fates character via the player's marriage choices, when the connection is never made in the game itself? That's a bit too much for my tastes, sorry.--Otherarrow (talk) 02:47, February 13, 2016 (UTC)
So yeah there you go. What your trivia said is certainly true and I was not saying it was wrong. I do not want to discourage you from editing, so you know, edit if you feel like it, just know that there is a certain standard that we put on the pages. BTW, I'm not an admin, I'm just a really seasoned editor on this wiki. I just stick around to help out and enforce the norms of this site.—Nauibotics (talk) 03:09, February 13, 2016 (UTC)

Xander/MarksEdit

Even if the characters had their name changed I don't see why you would delete the Karl Marx thing. What makes it anyless legit than other trivia?—Serathinian (talk) 21:21, March 25, 2016 (UTC)

Perhaps if Nintendo of America outright says that is the reason for the name change, okay I'd agree with you. Name changes are nothing new in localized Fire Emblem and they simply change it without particular reason, Xander is most likely no different. Speculation only goes so far compared to trivia that is 100% confirmable and relevant.—Nauibotics (talk) 23:37, March 25, 2016 (UTC)

Awakening Drama Cd's & Fates Support illustrationsEdit

Hi. You don't know me, but i'm been active on this wiki lately and i've noticed something: Despite mentions of them in some pages, there are no articles about the drama cd's for awakening. Would you mind creating them? If need be, i can indicate the sites of the translations. Also, should the support illustrations be also in the supports page? If so, tell me.

187.59.41.182 23:01, April 4, 2016 (UTC)

I'm technically not the best person to ask this. I could create them, but I know next to nothing about them. I need information about them in order to create them. If you really want to know, ask Otherarrow since he's the main Admin of this wiki.—Nauibotics (talk) 19:43, April 5, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks. Here's the the link for the translations just in case: http://azurillturtle.blogspot.com.br/2014/03/fe-awakening-drama-cd-1-1-princes.html?m=1 Most of them are here, if necessary, look up on YouTube, since there's this who made videos upon them. I'll go check it out. PS: Some script in fates are filled, but unorganized. Some editing is appreciated. Ex: Dragon blood, abducted and lost in the ice.--179.206.117.14 21:40, April 5, 2016 (UTC)

No localization differences? Edit

If this Wiki doesn't cover such things, bully for all of you, because this site does and makes it superior in that regard. --Breakin'Benny (talk) 15:02, April 25, 2016 (UTC)

Two things: One, we don't follow what the other site is doing (and nor should they follow what we are doing) and two, there is a time and place for such things. Noting in a trivia point or an aside note that English Fates changed some support or dialouge in a thinly veiled attempt to insult the localization? No, we don't need that. However, a script page showing both "versions" of the dialogue in question? That's fine. We do that already, for example I've seen Awakening script pages with both US and EU versions of dialogue noted. We also note, for example, on Henry's page the differences in his personality and backstory in different languages on the page, without showing preference to either one, just comparing them. We need to present the data objectively.--Otherarrow (talk) 17:33, April 25, 2016 (UTC)

Handling Various Route Character Endings (Fates) Edit

Hello, I noticed there was a revision made by you to remove the Velouria and Avatar (Revelations) ending on her character page. Just wondering how we're supposed to be handling these, if not the way I did it? I'm asking because I was planning on eventually adding every characters' endings for both routes if I get the time, and I've also made similar contributions to both the Shura and Anna pages.  --Kadaj29 (talk) 09:54, May 28, 2016 (UTC)

Only endings revolving the Avatar changes depending on the route. We do not need to notate when an ending is only available on Revelation since it really isn't necessary nor do any of the endings with a character changes depending on the route, sans the Avatar. In any case, if you're adding an Avatar married ending, please note which route it is for. Any other character does not require it.—Nauibotics (talk) 22:23, May 28, 2016 (UTC)
So, since it was different from the Conquest ending, having involved the Avatar character, that particular ending that was removed  (Line 443) was valid for that page? I don't want to get into any edit wars or anything and I'll leave it up to you, just wanted some clarification so I know what to do going forward with these endings. --Kadaj29 (talk) 23:16, May 28, 2016 (UTC)
Yes, the Avatar's ending with Velouria is different on Conquest than Revelation. Velouria's ending with say, Forrest, is the same on both Revelation and COnquest—Nauibotics (talk) 23:33, May 28, 2016 (UTC)

The Fujin Yumi Edit

Why do you keep changing the Fujin Yumi? It is getting tiresome going back over your revisions.

The reason I say Kiragi is the lates user of the Fujin Yumi is because he is. In Heirs of Fate, He inherits it and uses it. Whether or not Canon or Game related, that proves Kiragi is the current user.

Next (and I am certain this is true; I did the support just a little bit ago), in the support between Kiragi and Takumi, Takumi lets Kiragi use the Fujin Yumi. The fact the Fujin Yumi lets Kiragi use it shows that he has become a the latest user. The fact that he uses it at all proves he has become a wielder of it. The most recent, in fact.

Those two things together proves that Kiragi is infact the latest Wielder of the Fujin Yumi.

From Illialidur

Illialidur (talk) 01:17, July 27, 2016 (UTC)

He only has access to use it in Heirs of Fate series alone. Outside of those chapters, he cannot use it, only Takumi. His in-game, non-Heirs of Fate version, while confirmed can at least form the string and arrows it in the supports with Takumi, he has yet to master it nor has Takumi lost the ability to use it either. As of right now, in the Birthright/Conquest/Revelation storylines, only Takumi can use it in game. Its like saying that Cynthia, Kjelle, Morgan, Inigo, and Brady are the current wielders of the Falchion when only Lucina can use it in game as its current MAIN wielder. For now, I updated it to at least sound like the Falchion page regarding the other five children, but Kiragi is not the main wielder of the Fujin Yumi, only Takumi.—Nauibotics (talk) 01:23, July 27, 2016 (UTC)

I cannot say that I agree with you. I think the point is that he can wield it, making him a wielder and the most recent. I cannot say anything reguarding the Awakening references as I have not had a chance to play it. I still think the point is that Kiragi is a wielder, not the wielder. Takumi is the current in game user, but the post game Xenolouge shows Kiragi is the most recent, in which he masters it.
But.
I think the current way it is described does the Fujin Yumi history a fair measure of judgement. It describes the situation pretty well.
Illialidur (talk) 01:30, July 27, 2016 (UTC)
Let's not even start with Raijinto. We do NOT need to do this again.
Xenologues are side stories, not necessarily connected with the main stories. Forrest, Siegbert, Shiro, Kiragi, and both Kana's will one day wield their respective weapons from their parents thanks to evidence from their parent's supports, but they never gain the ability to wield it as of the events of Fates. I'm not say we should not acknowledge that they are proper wielders of the weapons themselves one day, that's not my point. But as of right now, the proper wielders of the weapons in-game, outside of these Xenologues, are Leo, Xander, Ryoma, Takumi, and the Avatar as the main and current wielders of the weapons. It's the same thing with the Raijinto, Brynhildr, and Siegfried just express it the same way.—Nauibotics (talk) 01:40, July 27, 2016 (UTC)

Rinkah's revision reversion Edit

Hey, dude. I noticed you completely undid the revision I wrote up for Rinkah's in-game overview section. Could you clarify why you thought the previous edit was a more accurate description of her capabilities? —FarEastwood (talk) 16:59, October 7, 2016 (UTC)

In the case of moving the "Rinkah is the only Oni Savage" thing down to the trivia, that is hardly notable as there are many characters in numerous Fire Emblem games that are the sole member of their starting class. That should stay in the Overview section, not the trivia. As for the stuff you added, that part is my bad. I didn't notice all of the edits you added and I added a few things back to the sections. The thing with the Overview is that they need to remain short and concise. The characters are analyzed in just their surface potential and their overall ending outcomes. We could go on forever about the different results you can get out of certain units, but the purpose of the Overall sections are to summarize their stat strengths and flaws, give a general gist of what their overall style of unit (i.e. glass cannon, wall, brawler/dueler), and the route options for their promotions if their starting class is a base tier class. We generally do not talk about character synergy as there are a lot of ways for her to synergize with other units like Azura's Healing Descant or the Avatar's Supportive which benefits her and everyone else. It's more when its character specific like Felicia, Jakob, Gunter, and Silas with the Avatar in particular are mentioned because of the specifics of the situation. Another is that you said that Salvage Blow is an offensive skill, but really, it's utility. It doesn't boost her damage output or involve a bonus effect in battle like Vengeance and Sol respectively. It only creates an iron weapon.—Nauibotics (talk) 00:05, October 8, 2016 (UTC)
Alright, understandable. I had initially read the "Rinkah is the only Oni Savage" as a "Did you know?" bit because of how large of a chunk it takes up in the first paragraph. I figured it would be better placed in the trivia, but, as you say, it does not. I apologize for the lack of discretion.

Though I think the overarching problem here is that there's a lack of guidelines on the content of article subsections. It's great that we have users and moderators constantly checking the credibility or suitability of article content and then responding with appropriate actions—but most of these actions seem to be based on hearsay guidelines that have been somewhat arbitrarily, somewhat mutually established by a small sample of veteran editors. The source article with the do's and don'ts of article material are pretty vague or even lacking when it comes to specific content (e.g., overview, lore, esp. trivia), which is probably why so many users edit in their personal idea of what is suitable content—only to have it immediately taken down by a moderator. Will people actually read and abide by guideline specifics? Maybe some. It'd probably help clear up some of the misunderstandings, miscommunications, or disagreements that happen around here. That's just my two cents.

In any case, I'll trust your word as a seasoned editor, and I'll use more discretion when it comes to handling content edits. We could all use a little more discretion, hahaha. Anyway, I appreciate ya, dude! Thanks for taking the time to explain the situation. —FarEastwood (talk) 02:27, October 8, 2016 (UTC)
Nah, no worries. I was a little sloppy with my undo and didn't really check the full length, I am partially at fault. Just to clarify, I decided to mention that "she's the only Oni Savage" more for the fact that she is the sole starting Axe/Club user in Hoshido without reclassing/promoting another unit or until Scarlet comes around.
I agree that it could use a lot of work of making these guidelines known. For those of us who have been around, the manual of style is already pretty engrained in our heads so it puts a disadvantage on you newer users. The Overview section for Fates was basically a result of me revamping the old way of doing it because they were either pretty lackluster or either praised one unit or shamed another. To give readers a brief understanding of the units, I basically devised the format below to give people a general gist without going in too deep, yet highlighted certain benefits a character may have while still mentioning their weaknesses. But anyways, here's the general format for the Overall section:
1. A brief overview of the character. Mostly just analyze their standard growth rates and make a general statement about it. Thankfully a lot of them have echoes to past units so its pretty easy to see what archetype they fall under. Whatever their highest stat growths are should be highlighted first and foremost. Then usually their weakest growths. If their weakest growths are like Magic or Strength in for a Fighter or Mage respectively, you can usually skip over those ones and go to the next ones. Usually stats 60%-65% are considered decent growths, 70+75% is good growths, and 80%+ are great growths. 40-55% are middling or average growths. 35% and less are usually poor growths. For Fates, mentioning their Personal Skill should go here.
2. Relate their stat growths to their base class and determine how their stat growths mold them as unit of that class. If there are other people of the same generation, compare them to their fellow shared class unit. For example, Charlotte is a typical glass-cannon Fighter while Arthur is more of a dueling/brawling Fighter. If skills exist, mention them after.
3. List promotions. Similar vein to their base class, mention their stat growths in relation to their new class. Most pages should at least have the growth rates for their class promotions, so that should be easy. And same, name how the skills benefit them in the long run if they do.
4. Secondary Class should be similar to the first. Though this is the section where you can highlight if their secondary class has a certain role or niche that compliments their stats and makes them viable in it (Like Azura as a Sky Knight for a better offensive unit than in her Utility Dancer form). Otherwise, highlighting the skills and their usability are good things to highlight.
5. Buddy/Lover Class. You can skip talking about stats in this sections and just give a general gist of how they would perform in the class. Usually we just stick to mentioning the skills they can learn and how they compliment their base class if they do.
Phew! Okay, so that is the general gist of how to handle these sections. I hope this clarifies it a bit. Oh, and do not mention DLC related classes in these sections either since not everyone will have access to certain ones. I think the only reason to mention a DLC skill would be if it would harmonize well with the character's Personal Skill like Peri with Galeforce and Midori with Witch's Brew. Other than that, just keep it short and simple. No need for complex mentioning of "A character synergizes well with another unit's AoE skill" since basically every character can benefit from an ally AoE skills unless it is more related to the Avatar since they have ally Personal skills that are activated solely by their presence.—Nauibotics (talk) 03:11, October 8, 2016 (UTC)
Oh, snap, dude! Wow, thanks so much for writing all this out! This makes it so much easier to understand how the overview section should be written out. Can we formally integrate these guidelines into the article guidelines page, or do we need some kind of administrative committee to decide that? I feel like specifics like this could really help newer users get a better grasp suitable content.

Thanks! Edit

Hey, Naui! I just wanted to express a holiday greeting and a personal thanks for helping me learn the ropes for the wikia these past few months! They've really helped me out with content edits, and I appreciate the work that you continue to put into this platform—in editing, moderating, and advising. Here's to a holiday and coming year of good tidings and cheer! —FarEastwood (talk) 07:54, December 18, 2016 (UTC)

Ah, not a problem. We're happy to have more regular editors on the site. The more the merrier! I look forward to continuing to work with you in the future for the betterment of the wiki. Happy holidays!—Nauibotics (talk) 21:20, December 18, 2016 (UTC)

"main"Edit

I did not go against wiki policy by stating these as so, so can we please keep it at "main" and let the admin's decide when they log on. I would rather have an official decision by the admins and processing the thought rather than not having it at all.--Kirika Ren (talk) 02:16, January 19, 2017 (UTC)

You're not going against, but making a specific distinction like that needs a bit more deliberation rather than you taking matters into you hands. For now, leave it as the previous version before your edits as the wiki was fine as is before you did that. I agree to let the admins sort it out. Let Otherarrow in particular be the one to handle it. I'm not saying you're wrong. But if we do that, it would also mean we would have to make these sort of distinctions for other pages like Caeda, Ninian, Lilina, Sothe, Elincia, Geoffrey, and Zelgius just to name a few characters who are playable and "main" playable units. Also be sure to sign your posts on user pages. That is wiki policy.—Nauibotics (talk) 02:20, January 19, 2017 (UTC)
Ah, you are giving me a headache XD I give up and it's so early in the morning. But Ninian didn't even make it to the covert art of the game and her role was no huge different to Sothe. Just similar to that of Emmeryn. Tell you what, I'll ask the admin when they are logged, it will be better than pointless quarrels. Ah, I know about the post thing, that was an accident because I had pressed published so I had to go back and edit it, so I wasn't in the wrong since I had signed it before you had replied to it. Yeah, don't worry. I'll leave a mention for those characters. Wait, what!? Lilina is a main character though, even without the need to explain. Just look at the cover art for FE6, as well. Yeah, so I'll ask the admins on your behalf, too, when I have the time.--Kirika Ren (talk) 02:26, January 19, 2017 (UTC)
Like I said, you're not necessarily wrong. And what are you talking about? Ninian was extremely important to Eliwood's plot in particular. More so if you make them A-Support. She is important in like three or four chapters including the final one. Did you forget that Nils and Ninian are the children of Nergal, that she was transformed into a dragon and forced to fight Eliwood, that the ending of Rekka no Ken always involves her and changes depending on her relationship to Eliwood? Also Sothe is on the cover of Radiant Dawn, so presence or lack of presence on the cover is not a good justification for the status of a "main character". If we're going by cover, then Fates would make Flora, Felicia, Gunter, and Jakob main characters. In reality, the title of a "main" character is pretty loose really. In my opinion, for the Fates characters in particular, the Hoshidan siblings are more important in the Birthright route while the Nohrian Siblings are more important to in Conquest. Even as enemies, they are not the "main" enemy, just a major opposing force. On the opposite routes, Conquest really puts only Ryoma and Takumi as "main" enemy characters, but King Garon is still at the forefront. Birthright basically places Xander as the most important one while the other three pale before him and, once again, Garon is the main antagonist. Both sets of siblings are reportedly less important to Revelation, merely just a route to have them join forces towards a common goal and take down the greater evil. Revelation especially puts more focus on the Avatar and Azura more than anything, while Birthright and Conquest makes the playable royal family more important, but still behind the Avatar and Azura.-Nauibotics (talk) 02:39, January 19, 2017 (UTC)
The same could be said about many characters, though. Ninian or not. I could say the same for Lilina for being Roy's friend, especially since they are similar to Alm/Celica. But that applies for almost every character close to Eliwood, sure, not the male ones, but out of the female candidates. Sothe may be on the cover but I guess because Micaiah was the focus and Sothe was the closest after that, especially since Ike got his screen-time.

Actually, the covers are good enough. I actually agree with the Felicia and Jakob point, Gunter and Flora excluded because they are purposely placed to oppose Jakob and Felicia rather than Felicia opposing Jakob because both of them join up with the avatar. Jakob and Felicia do participate as retainers, I am not saying that they are particularly main but rather they should be categorized in major instead of the royals. Nope, each set of sibling family are important in all stories. Whether Takumi and Ryoma are the enemies or not for Conquest and the Xander and such for Birthright, they are still main characters, Garon is a substep, especially since it isn't actually Garon. The main plot is to the relation to the Nohrian/Hoshidan family, how Mikoto came into bringing Corrin and how Corrin's father is the mastermind. It's true that the set of siblings joined forces but what more can you do? They still had their stories elaborated, plus the official Fire Emblem if campaign listed all the front cover characters (except the butler-retainers) as main characters, I don't know if the link for that is still valid though. Athough, plot-wise, Azure is actually non-related to the story, as she had her story more elaborated upon in Revelations but so did the royal siblings. Aside from Revelations, Azura primarily acted like a dragon-tamer and catalyst for Corrin. The only parts which made her stand out were cutscenes, her support conversation, which is about it, as well as the death-ending. AND I swear, you CAN'T NOT call the royals main after all the covers, artworks, promotions, opening, cutscenes, majority of support, ending scenes, etc. focus on them. (One must be tapped in the head to overlook that and class their role as limited and just "major") If you view the opening, you would see the main focus are the royal families and Aqua in the between scenes. If the game did not intend for such a thing, then they would not have made the royals so major to the point nothing would happen without them. Garon was used as the plot device for destruction, the game view the true enemy as the opposing royals with Garon being the residue of what is left for the final battle of the story. Technically, Garon's role is quite subliminal that it actually feels non-existent until Corrin is kidnapped and the final battle. Revelations focuses more on the avatar because the other routes didn't do so as much, same applies to Azura, although it wasn't much about Shenmei and the Invisible Kingdom. Even with the Invisible Kingdom and her mother, her background is not as big as the rest. Nah, Birthright and Conquest do make the royal family important--yes, behind the avatar, no, not behind Azura. They are slightly ahead or just on par, particularly because she decides to follow no matter the path. *once again, forgot to sign.--Kirika Ren (talk) 03:11, January 19, 2017 (UTC)

Fiora and Florina are just as important to the plot as Ninian? Are you crazy? Ninian is plot important, Nergal's whole scheme and motivations revolves around her and Nils, but Ninian has more importance to Eliwood in particular and the story of the later half of the game as a whole. Lyndis is the only one who trumps her, but that is more because her initial chapters are focused around her story. She's still involved and important, but Eliwood and Hector are way more important after her part is over. It's kinda like how Radiant Dawn focuses on Michaiah mainly for the Daien chapters, Elincia for the Crimea Chapters, and Ike for the Greil Mercenaries chapters, with all three coming into equal importance in the final chapters, though Michaiah and Ike more so.
I would say that the royal siblings are in line with Caeda, Dierdre, Julia, Nanna, Lilina, Ninian, Elincia, FE10 Sothe, FE10 Geoffrey, and FE10 Zelgius/Black Knight They are all very important to the immediate plot or at least are heavily involved. However, they are clearly overshadowed by the main Lords of each game and do not drive the story, merely enhance it. Also, pray tell how "important" Leo and Camilla is in Birthright. They are more just obstacles during the path, rather than plot important. Xander is extremely critical and portrayed as such throught birthright and Elise is heavily involved in the last few chapters before what happens to her. I can say that those two are the most important characters of Birthright of the Nohrian sibblings. Camilla and Leo are just kinda there, and had I not played the other routes, I really would not have care all that much for them because of that. Conquest, yes Ryoma and Takumi are certainly the main enemies and are plot important. Hinoka and Sakura are defeated and are swiftly not mentioned again until the epilogue. I'm not saying they are "unimportant" but two of the siblings on each route are significantly less important than the other two. And in my honest opinion, Ryoma and Xander are the most important of the sibling, story wise and are similar to Lucina. They actually do drive the plot, both as playable characters and as enemies, but they are clearly not on level as the Avatar or Azura. I compare the other three as playable characters like Lissa. They're there, but they don't drive the plot nearly as much as the clear cut main protagonist and other important characters, once Xander and Ryoma come in, they act as the most important advisor to the Avatar's growth with the other three as just support. Doesn't make them any less important, but their presence serves to enhance the story, not drive it. If we were to take out Camilla, Hinoka, Leon, and Sakura, all out of the story and left the ones that actually had a major event occur to them (basically their deaths), would the story have changed? In my opinion, not as much. It does have an effect, but not as much as say taking out Elise's death or Takumi's possession. If you want to mention importance of characters in openings, well Awakening has Sumia in its opening, yet she's not "main". Or you know, Emmeryn being a major character of the first half of Awakening, despite not being playable. Azura is important to Birthright as she is constantly using her necklace to bail the main protagonist and their crew out of danger and she serves as a guide and in the end sacrifices her life. In Conquest, she is involved with the plan to reveal "Garon" and ultimately sacrifices herself. Revelations certainly does the best job of fleshing her backstory more and is clearly much more important. As for the other siblings, the Nohrian sibligns don't get much really. If you play Conquest beforehand, nothing really new gets revealed other than Azura's mother, which is more related to Valla rather than Nohr. Hoshido gets Sumeragi's thing, which is to reveal that the Avatar is not his child, which can be revealed before that through S-Supports and the Hidden Truths. Other than that, it also reveals that he was Mikoto's killer so yeah. Which impacts more the Avatar than it does the Hoshidan siblings. Azura is definitely a main character and the deuteragonist because she is in every path and is prominent throughout the plot (Opera House scene in both Conquest and Birthright? Traveling to Valla in Conquest and in Revelations?) She is the whole reason those two things occur in those routes and a lot of reasons why things happen in all three routes.—Nauibotics (talk) 03:52, January 19, 2017 (UTC)

Royal Royale StrategyEdit

Hi Nauibotics, regarding Royal Royale strategy, please do not discard a substantial body of work based on your personal and subjective opinion on what should constitute proper strategy page. You yourself put a tag of Subjectivity on strategy. Then you should realize, assuming you have the DLC in question, Royal Royal is complex and any meaningful strategy is precise. There is no need for th e"subjectiveness" tag if reasons for a said strategy are thought out and provided.

My turn by turn formula was preceded by and followed by more general and succinct strategy discussion. If you have actually read what you deleted, you should know that neither yourself or the existing examples offer any replacement to the insights on item management and unit maneuvering which I provided.

In any case, it is highly counter-productive if someone arbitrarily remove any substantial and meaningful body of work without replacement. Please consider working on the Royal Royale page meaning yourself (ie. not arbitrarily deleting passages including ones well beyond your point of objection) if you are interestd and have a different vision for the page in question. For a starter, the talk page of Royal Royale is a good place for discussions.

冷雾 (talk) 23:31, March 2, 2017 (UTC)

No, that is the rules of the Wiki. We do not do detailed, turn-by-turn strategies for ANY of the pages, literally go look upon all pages, we offer suggestions and overall favorable strategies, but never turn-by-turn suggestions.
If you want to do those turn-by-turn things, those go in your own blog pages and you may link them on your user page alone. I'm not against the item management and unit maneuvering suggestions, but you are not to do specific guides for tactics that require literal precise unit placement and commands. The Fire Emblem Wiki is only an information source, not a strategy guide like Gamefaqs.—Nauibotics (talk) 23:39, March 2, 2017 (UTC)
I am not only objecting to your qualification on "overal favorable strategies". I am still working on the page and I can see a separate page for detailed turn-by-turn example for readers who find the DLC particularly tricky.
You on the other hand deleted edits well beyond your point of objection and you asserted your own personal opinion over other editors without any effort to communicate.
If you want to meaningfully contribute to the Wiki page, please actually work on it, use talk section, be more careful with what you delete and more respectful towards other editors and their work.冷雾 (talk) 23:56, March 2, 2017 (UTC)
I'm not saying your contributions are not appreciated. But keep in mind, you've been on this wiki for a day (unless you're a previous anonymous user), you have not been on here nearly as long as I have and have talked to both Otherarrow and KhangHD about similar cases before. We've had edits where people did turn-by-turn strategies and we have reverted them. They have said that we are not to do turn-by-turn strategies. That is the only point of your edits that I have conflict with.
Everything else is okay. I will leave it as is for now as I'm not getting into a pointless edit war and you've already put it to Otherarrow to sort out. Other than that, I would suggest not doing similar things to other pages until this issue has been sorted out, the last thing is having to do so many rollbacks for the same issue. I'm not trying to devalue your work nor am I trying to play police on your edits, but there are rules and formats set up by the admins before and I just help to enforce it since they are not always online. Don't twist my words to make me seem like I'm some vindictive editor. I'm here to help just as much as you are doing, just I have a more familiarity with the wiki's style that the admins wish to have for it..
edit: And don't get me wrong, I know how challenging this map can be, but you don't need to follow your step-by-step process to complete the map. Your method could be the most efficient, but that's your opinion. I have completed her specific challenge way differently from yours.—Nauibotics (talk) 00:16, March 3, 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for the clarification. I will gladly take your advise of postponing on posting any turn-by-turn solutions. As for being new to this particular Wikia, I do usually expect major removal of content on a Wikia page to trigger a talk page section. It was frustrating to see a major rollback much beyond the edit summary without talk page section. As it is clear now, I was also misled by the Edit Summaries that I thought a single editor was policing how the style and content of a page should be. As for the eventual stylistic discussion, I can certainly wait for Otherarrow to join in.
I would also like to clarify that my turn-by-turn solution was a first attempt to articulate the important elements of the strategy. I could say item management and precise maneuver are important. But if a read finds the map difficult, overly general description may not make much sense. So I do want to provide an example. But even as a reader I would prefer to see key elements explained first and try them out myself before resorting to a particular move-specific strategy. For now, I have collapsed the details that can clutter the page and are akin to spoilers to a story plot.
If you have time, I would love to discuss more later on how we can best articulate the important elements to Royal Royale strategies and what they are in each case.
冷雾 (talk) 00:30, March 3, 2017 (UTC)
My only concern was the content on the page in regards to our admin's wishes for wiki policy since well before you started editing today, which is approaching or seems very game guide-ish. Plus you also reformatted the headers and now it is inconsistent with the other chapter pages. Usually, turn-by-turn stuff can go on Blog pages and you can basically post whatever you want on them so long as they are appropriate. I've done skill guides for Awakening and started a Fates one before I dropped it. You CAN make them, but the matter of WHERE it can be put is of concern. Turn-by-turn instructions, in my own opinion, takes away the fun and spirit of a tactics game. You should rely on your own strategies so it feels like YOU accomplished something, not follow someone else's formula. This chapter is probably the one map where you can do strategies like yours as the units are fixed in every aspect. It's not like doing Awakening's Apotheosis where the units readily available at that point differ from playthrough to playthrough. However, I strongly doubt people are coming onto this wiki looking for map strategies. Even the character pages which I've spearheaded for Awakening and Fates are similar to the way chapter strategies are suppose to go. It's meant to highlight things for help, but not suggest that it is the way to go in terms of handling a character.
But in terms of your turn-by-turn strategy, It worked for me, so its not like I'm rejecting it because its not viable. But it sapped a lot of the fun of my having to wing my tactics and handle it my way.
I have little gripes with new editors, we welcome them so long as they aren't vandals. I've never categorized your edits as vandalism or as a cause of concern for your capabilities of producing quality content, just that it appears to go against wiki policy for what is desired for strategy sections, which is fairly new. I'm just following through on maintaining the rules while the admins may not be online. There is no anger, frustration, or righteousness coming from my end. I'm just saying to respect my insight as a seasoned editor on this site and consider that I have helped to deal with similar situations to yours, you are not the first to make posts like this, and probably not the last.—Nauibotics (talk) 00:50, March 3, 2017 (UTC)
Very well. Would you be able to link me to the said policy page? I tried looking for them and could not find any policy on strategy sections.
I agree with your point about turn-by-turn strategy sapping away potential readers' fun. For Battle Royale page, it would occur to me the readership of the other strategy sections are just as questionable. They are also just formulaic recipes but without specifying turns. How do we reconcile that? Would you be able to help adapting them into highlights? Should we tell readers at which turns the teams start moving, albeit with spoiler alert? The starting turns are the only factual information besides Map Setup that I can think of at the moment. But knowing them ahead of time may still undermine the fun for a potential reader. Maybe the Talk Page of Battle Royale is a better place for discussion.
On the purpose of these Wiki pages again, I respect the wishes of the admins and the greater community as long as they are clearly stated in some policy pages and are open for discussion and revision to the community from time to time. For the Battle Royale page, I wouldn't say people don't come here for map strategies. People will Google any particular subject and if Wikia is the only organized site that offers information on that subject, which means it will show up as top results, people come. The Rewards section of Battle Royale section is an example. If the Map Strategy section gets cleaned up and provides factual information like starting turns of enemy teams, it should become another example.

The Awakening Story PageEdit

Was there any reason to heavily edit the stuff in the plot of Awakening page? Omegaxis1 (talk) 22:43, April 20, 2017 (UTC)

It was pretty lengthy and could use some condensing. It also used improper english (like using contractions) which we avoid using on the Wiki. —Nauibotics (talk) 23:25, April 20, 2017 (UTC)
I see. I was asking since I was the one that wrote the plot in that page. Omegaxis1 (talk) 23:42, April 20, 2017 (UTC)
Don't worry though. It's mostly condensing and revision. Doing the story event by event description makes it more lengthy than it needs to be. Some events really only need a few sentences as part of a larger picture, rather than full paragraphs for each individual one. It's supposed to be a summary, not a complete retelling—Nauibotics (talk) 23:51, April 20, 2017 (UTC)
I understand. Thanks. I was trying to avoid the retelling thing too, hence why I think I left some things out like the thing about Nowi and such. But of course, I tend to try and explain everything I felt was important. Omegaxis1 (talk) 23:54, April 20, 2017 (UTC)

Elice TriviaEdit

I wish to end the debate on the Trivia for Elice so that we stop typing and deleting each other.

Now why do you not want the trivia there? I know it's has it's flaw but it IS a fact that the two elements are there. I don't want to just ignore the fact, that seems unprofessional. Why do you want it gone? I wish to know in full.

I hope we can come to an agreement.GreatDane112 (talk) 05:11, May 2, 2017 (UTC)

Sure it seems a bit off but consider that each of the Sisters who are brainwashed can be only awoken by one person. Sure Marth is her sister, and we see that in the case of Maria, that is enough for a Maiden to have their brainwashing removed. But consider the context of the situation where the common factor amongst the Sisters is that they must be talked to by the person they treasure the most. Lena has Julian, Nyna is by Camus/Sirius, Maria is by Minerva, and Elice is by Merric. It would be notable if it were that Marth had the ability to do that in game, stating that she has two ways of restoring her conscious. You could also say, "why can't Michalis do the same in New Mystery of the Emblem" as Maria also cares for her brother. The circumstances of the game is more due to limitations of the game rather than by developer choice or lack of foresight. I know its knitpicky, but circumstances of the way the game is presented twice in the original and the remake make it less important. It would be more interesting if say the original game didn't have it but the remake added that feature.

Also side note about the Archetype Page, that page is more focused on characterization similarities rather than stats similarities. I removed most of the ones that do not fulfill the characterization notes as we have been strict about that. —Nauibotics (talk) 05:23, May 2, 2017 (UTC)

I don't know, it still seems like it's glancing over it, I know the specifics are unclear and the circumstances are of a more dated time, but again it is a significant fact that it is the case. I'm not saying it's a good or bad thing, I'm just wanting to state it because it is what it is. I also feel it doesn't cnflict with any other information to put that there. Also as an aside, Michalis can't recruit Maria because he refuses to, he says so himself in his supports. It's untested as to whether him talking to her would have broken her spell.GreatDane112 (talk) 05:54, May 2, 2017 (UTC)
True, and I have to admit that I forgot that Michalis is unrecruitable in the original, but he is recruitable in the remake. Nevertheless, even though Michalis feels that way about Maria before his recruitment, after he is recruited in New Mystery, he clearly states that she "saved "him. Maria has stated that her brother is just as important to her as her sister and is shown in the first game to be of that nature as she became a willing hostage for him. In the enhanced remake, that gets further explained in their supports. Maybe if he could do it in the enhanced remake, it would make the point of Marth's inability a little more strange. It stands to reason, by the logic of "why can't marth break Elice's trance" to "why can't Michalis break Maria's trance?" It's nitpicky for sure, but its more of, most likely, software limitations or purely stylistic choice for who breaks whose trances. We may never know as we never developed the games nor has they ever mentioned this in any artbook. Putting aside the remake for the sake of point, the requirement to break the trances of the Sisters is to use the individual who is the most important to them and that is the common theme. Not to say that Marth is not important to her, but Merric is put at the forefront as her most important person in the long run as she cannonically marries him in the epilogue. —Nauibotics (talk) 05:49, May 2, 2017 (UTC)
Couldn't we just put that as to why that's not the case? I think it would do more good to give that explanation to the common wiki-goer than to just ignore it. These are all valid points to be made, so why not add it in there? I struggle to see why this shouldn't be addressed.GreatDane112 (talk) 05:54, May 2, 2017 (UTC)
Hmm...I suppose that's a better way of handling the situation if we mention both. I'm just not too sure how relevant it is given the extra circumstances. We could mention that Linde can't awaken Nyna despite being her student, which would be of similar nature, but less familial than Michalis and Marth. But I suppose its worth mentioning as you state—Nauibotics (talk) 06:47, May 2, 2017 (UTC)

Shout outs for you not banning me yet im done editing so you dont have to worry but you could of let my artworks stay for a bit longer at the very least, i think they were worthy edits.

Camilla's Wvyern Edit

Hi,

So I've been looking into the "Camilla's wyvern is named Marzia" thing, and I can't seem to find any evidence that her wvyern is named that. Where did you see this?

DeathChaos asked the fanslation team, and they said it wasn't....Robotortoise (talk) 21:56, July 30, 2017 (UTC)

Camilla's Wyvern's name has already been debunked ages ago. No actual indication for her wyverns name was found in the Japanese version of Fates nor any of the drama CDs. I see that someone put it back on, so I removed it. So for the record, Camilla's mount is unnamed. Only Percy has a named mount in Fates.—Nauibotics (talk) 22:16, July 29, 2017 (UTC)
Alright, thank you! The only reason I actually asked you is you were the one who reverted it initially when I made the edit back in August of last year, so I figured you might have info I didn't. Anyway, thanks!Robotortoise (talk) 21:56, July 30, 2017 (UTC)
Oh I reverted it? Hmm, weird. I known for a while now that Camilla's mount had been unnamed. I think it was from someone's fanfic in Japan or something and it ended up on Camilla's page. —Nauibotics (talk) 23:11, July 30, 2017 (UTC)
As long as we're on the subject... Someone brought up [a similar thing happened with Sumia and Cordelia's mounts.](http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Pegasus?diff=prev&oldid=343696) You said their names were in promotional material? Robotortoise (talk) 02:15, August 2, 2017 (UTC)
If I remember correctly, those were from the Drama CD collections. Someone on Serenesforest put a translated and made a text dump of the Drama CDs for Awakening (which are considered "canon")—Nauibotics (talk) 05:39, August 2, 2017 (UTC)

Can you link it? I saw the translations for the drama cd's, but I can't remember where the names are mentioned.

Shokugeki No Soma WikiaEdit

Infobox reversions Edit

Correct me if there was something I'm missing, but is there any particular reason you are reverting users filling in the new parameters on the infoboxes?--Otherarrow (talk) 13:02, February 11, 2018 (UTC)

Ah, I didn't know that we are updating them in that manner. My apologies, I will go and revert what I've done. Just some quick questions about how to handle these:
  1. How are we going to handle spoilers for the info boxes regarding family? Cases like Pelleas, Alm, and the Fates Avatar have complicated circumstances where the family heritage revelations can be spoilers on the page where we are blocking that content via spoiler text drops.
  2. For Genealogy, Awakening, and Fates how are we going to handle the family members since there are no fixed spouses save for a small handfull in Genealogy for the non-determinate parents?
  3. For family status (some of these recent edits listed "Deceased" for some of the family members.) Do we put the deceased status in the instance at the end of the games or at the beginning of each game? This would affect characters like Ashnard who is alive in PoR but dead in Radiant Dawn, Mikoto who is alive at the beginning but is killed during the story, or reveal important things like Garon being canonically dead in Fates prior to the start of the story and what we encounter in the game is a reanimation from Anankos. This would also affect Genealogy characters like Sigurd and Dierdre who are alive in part I but are dead in part II or Awakening children since technically their parents are dead in their original timeline, however the story has the parents alive, but in a separate timeline and not their "actual timeline parents".
Again my apologies.—Nauibotics (talk) 20:29, February 11, 2018 (UTC)
No need to apologize, I just didn't know if there was a discussion I missed or something. Anyway, to answer your questions:
I'd use spoiler text drops on them too. Do we have a "smaller" one we can use in the infoxbox?
I'd only go with confirmed canon spouses, basically what is confirmed in FE5 for FE4 charas. So, Erinys would be listed as Ced's mother/Lewyn's wife, but not, say, Lex or whoever as Ayra's spouse or any of the Awakening/Fate pairings.
Honestly personally I'd just omit any of the "deceased" tags all together and just quote relations as is. So Ashnard would be listed as Almedha's...spouse? Partner? (were they officially married?) but not that he's deceased?--Otherarrow (talk) 00:04, February 12, 2018 (UTC)
Okay on all fronts then. I think there was some discussion in the past. There was a user who was working on this template but he hasn't responded in the past few weeks. But I posed the same questions of issues that needed to be resolved before implementing these things, but they were not entirely resolved. For now though I'll work on implementing this new template onto Awakening and Fates characters.—Nauibotics (talk) 00:40, February 12, 2018 (UTC)
There was this user who was making a template to use http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:ThunderBrine/Sandbox. We can implement that for spoilers since I'm currently trying to control an edit war with some users right now.—Nauibotics (talk) 03:59, February 12, 2018 (UTC)

sentence grammar mistake Edit

Hey nauibotics,I wanted to say thank you for editing one of my sentences for when I was trying to say that The avatar has changed later on through the story when encountering Mikoto and Iago.I was tired on that day and I was angry at the same time. Thus I tried to write the best I could.

Faye PTSD edit Edit

Over here you decided to undo my edit on the grounds that the implication is invalid. I'm not going to edit war, I would just like to know what exactly makes the whole idea invalid. Or if it's simply because speculative trivia is not allowed on the wiki?

I also ask you take time to read this reddit post so that you can understand where I am coming from.

CaptainJJC (talk) 17:02, March 25, 2018 (UTC)

At best, it is an interesting take on what could possibly be Faye's deal with her obsession with Alm, but it is not 100% true as this is a theory a fan has brought up. Plus, lingering obsessive first loves are not a sign of PTSD. However, let's make a few assumptions as our own. Regardless, so long as Faye is recruited, she does not develop new lines over the course of the game. It's not like her battle lines are more cheery in the beginning while at the end they are more despondent. You know, "Thousand Yard Stare" stuff. Second, PTSD tends to occur when a traumatic event is all over (as I have worked with veterans in my life of profession), in other words, when their crisis is all over. Faye COULD have this in the case of her epilogue, but that is more of an crippling infatuation than PTSD. PTSD is more crippling, preventing them from ever moving on or at worst, even functioning. To her, Alm is her world, which has been the case since she was little. Faye is somewhat similar with Tharja where they are more fixated on a particular person, without the stalker tendencies. Consider that both are infatuated with a particular person and to them, even if they are married, they still are infatuated with the other person first (if we do not pair our Avatar with Tharja in her example).
Second, I have a problem with the theory that Faye isolates herself if she is in Celica's army. Sure she has no dialogue Support with any of Celica's army, but neither does Kliff, who only has a dialogue Support with ONLY Tobin and it is not like he has any signs of PTSD. He certainly does not have PTSD so its not like that is a factor in his lack of Celica army supports. The fact of the matter is that both Kliff and Faye were designed with the intention that you would be bringing them into Alm's army. Plus, lets make the assumption that obviously we do not see more of the behind the scenes stuff. Who knows what the army is doing when traveling. Faye COULD be chatting it up with her fellow army people in both armies. Heck, she passively supports and is supported by Celica, so we can assume that there is a bond between them. Faye herself is fond of Celica and like the read says, she is not trying to replace her.
To sum up, I'm not saying that it is NOT PTSD, but this is just a theory, which has some validity. But we do not deal with theories here on the wiki as we are making a huge assumption with them. Unless a developer confirms it, it is not worth noting. Personally, having worked with PTSD victims in my field of work, Faye does not wholly exhibit PTSD. In fact the only thing that would trigger PTSD during the story itself would be a result of the near kidnapping by Slayde in the beginning, but even that event does not stop her from joining Alm/Celica's cause, which would trigger that traumatic memory. Post war Faye may have it, but Wartime Faye most likely does not have it. Plus, I never personally thought she was a Yandere like some people were thinking. She is the victim of an unrequited love and has never been able to move past it. It has nothing to do with PTSD and is common even for normal civilians to linger on their first love.—Nauibotics (talk) 20:16, March 25, 2018 (UTC)
I'd still like to believe the theory. Still, your explanation reminds me it is just that, a theory. Thank you for clearing things up.

The deeprealms Edit

Hey Nauibotics,I think it's time we finish the deeprealm information on all the second generation kids, shall we?

I mean, you don't need to ask me for permission. I'll just clean up whatever needs fixing.—Nauibotics (talk) 20:24, April 10, 2018 (UTC)

I just wanted you to help,by the way I just want to say thank you for editing my sentence for the Avatar(fates) personality part.My head was tired that day and I was so furious.

Language format Edit

I was wondering if the names for the Fire Emblem Heroes Chapters, Xenologues, and Paralogues could have their own section for names like Spanish, French, and German. --Pixelrz (talk) 23:08, April 24, 2018 (UTC)

I mean, I'm not the one to determine that. But generally we prefer to just keep it to just English and Japanese. English because that is the native wiki's main language and Japanese because the source material is Japanese. You CAN put it on, but it really does not really add anything interesting and adds "fluff" to pages when most people won't care about those things unless they speak the languages or uses them.—Nauibotics (talk) 07:30, April 25, 2018 (UTC)

You're right. I totally spaced out. My bad.

Excuse Me...Edit

Nauibotics, you may not have the administrative power, but did you know that MT2000 may be a sockpuppet? Maybe it's just me, but I can be certain that MT2000 is actually Mitchell20 himself, the guy who got blocked yesterday. We should report this to Otherarrow, just in case. DBFan9000 (talk) 03:34, June 20, 2018 (UTC)

Probably. Or maybe he's not. The anonymous nature of users leave a lot up to the air. Hasn't personally harassed me like Mitchell20, but who knows. Otherarrow would be aware given that the user posted on his usertalk page.—Nauibotics (talk) 04:56, June 20, 2018 (UTC)

I'm not sure how to classify this... Edit

Nauibotics, now that brave Veronica is here, she's techinically playable, even though her vanilla version isn't, so I'm inclined to see her changed from her current postion on the template.

However, unlike the fates characters, we have no guarantees that the enemy OC's vanilla versions will eventually be playable (despite the latest paralogue hinting otherwise), because they're in a more unique position for their status as such. So, I kinda need an opinion on this. Thx.--2804:7F2:8180:F95F:221:97FF:FE74:C72D 05:40, August 25, 2018 (UTC)

Marth's EarringsEdit

Why should it NOT be in the trivia section? It's actual trivia. Especially since literally every artwork of Marth depicts him not having his ears pierced. Hell, he's probably the only Male Lord with ears pierced on this design. Omegaxis1 (talk) 02:59, September 1, 2018 (UTC)

Because that's like saying the Fates Avatar should be noted for having pointy ears or Seliph for being the only Male Lord with long hair. Or if you wanna go inversely, it's like us making a trivia note on the Micaiah being the only female lord WITHOUT earrings in her design. It's purely an artist's creative choice and a very minor addition to Marth's design. Trivia should be things that are not easily described without knowledge of homages, designer interviews describing the choice, or little easter eggs, not visual observations that have no real relevance to why the designer chose it.-Nauibotics (talk) 06:07, September 1, 2018 (UTC)

SourcesEdit

It just occurred to me that a lot of the info on the wiki face the issue on how they are written out from some sources like how I wrote stuff about Duma, Grima, Forneus, and such using the info received from the Valentian Accordion. However, if people that don't even know where this info had come from start to arrive on the wiki and see those pages, they might get the idea that these are all false or such and go to erase said info.

In which case, should we not try and add some source links to these things so that some viewers can understand that these are not fake?

Omegaxis1 (talk) 18:29, September 1, 2018 (UTC)

There is a way to put source links in trivia, profiles, and what not. I'm not too sure how to do it but for the most part, all of us who are regulars are familiar with the materials of the official data books such as Knights of Iris or Valentian Accordion. They are not totally necessary and if random people who do not work on the wiki do edit them out, it is easy to undo the deletions. Doing the sources are not 100% necessary, but if you want to do them, then by all means you can make them. At the very least, you can put "According to Valentian Accordion" if you want to pre-ceed information in the Profile or Trivia for such information.-Nauibotics (talk) 18:35, September 1, 2018 (UTC)

I mean, the only one that I recall being sourced was Arvis' page where he found out about Deirdre being his sister. But that was one small thing, whereas the other ones are divided into other ways. But I'll try something and you can be the judge on whether it's good or not. Omegaxis1 (talk) 18:39, September 1, 2018 (UTC)

I tried something with Duma's page. Omegaxis1 (talk) 23:28, September 12, 2018 (UTC)

Current vandal Edit

Hello,

I advise you to block the whole IP range 2601:CF:8100:A35:0:0:0:0/64.

Not only they're vandalizing this Wiki but they also hit two others, changing the 4 last numbers of the IP at the end everytime. Blocking every IP one after the other may cause them to just change it the time to reboot an Internet box. By blocking the range, these chances will be reduced.

Thanks

Garon Edit

Corrin spends 90% of conquest battling the Hoshidans. He only takes any steps to fight Garon near the very end, and that event is immediately overshadowed by the Hoshidan Takumi final boss. Garon is a major antagonist, but the main antagonist of Conquest? Benandi (talk) 23:11, February 25, 2019 (UTC)

Motivations are that Corrin is trying to get answers from Garon, but needs to gain his trust. Halfway through Conquest it becomes a matter of exposing that Garon is a monster. True you fight the Hoshidans but you are ultimately killing Garon in the final chapter and stopping a posessed Takumi who is manipulated by Anankos, not of his own true free will in that final battle. Takumi and Ryoma are just protecting their country from you who is acting under orders of Garon. They are enemy by circumstance. If Corrin could have, both would have been spared and they’d come to understand their reasons. Garon is pure evil regardless and the driving force of the plot of both routes, hence the main antagonist.-Nauibotics (talk) 23:19, February 25, 2019 (UTC)
I hear your point, but don't forget, being the main antagonist of a story isn't about being the most evil character; the main antagonist is the primary force opposing the protagonist (s.) AKA, the main thing preventing them from achieving their goals. In the Last of Us, the most evil characters are probably David and Robert, and the Infected are just antagonists by circumstance, because they have no free will of their own. But the Infected are still the primary force opposing the heroes, ergo, they are the main antagonists.
Same with Conquest. Garon is an evil SOB, but the Hoshidans are the primary force opposing Corrin and Nohr throughout basically the whole game. Every mission (with few exceptions) is battling the forces of Hoshido. Whether the Hoshidans are justified in their cause is irrelevant; the fact is, they oppose the hero at every turn in a way no one else does.
In that sense, if exposing Garon is Corrin's goal, then the Hoshidans are the primary force preventing Corrin from achieving said goal. Hence, Hoshido\Ryoma\Takumi are the main antagonists of Conquest. Benandi (talk) 23:37, February 25, 2019 (UTC)
So, is that sufficient enough to allow the edit? Benandi (talk) 00:22, February 26, 2019 (UTC)
No because the Hoshidans are a Major Antagonist on the Conquest route while Garon is still the Main Antagonist of the route because he is the main threat of the route that needs to be quelled, not the Hoshidans. While the motivations are to invade Hoshido, remember Corrin is doing it to have his visage dispelled so he, in the end, is the one to be killed. -Nauibotics (talk) 02:21, February 26, 2019 (UTC)
  l
You say Garon is the main threat of the route, but the Hoshidans are quite literally the main threat of almost every mission in the game. Again, exposing Garon becomes Corrin's goal, and the Hoshidans are the primary antagonistic force preventing him from reaching said goal.
Benandi (talk) 05:13, February 26, 2019 (UTC)
What about Iago? Sure they were trying to expose Garon's true form and kill him, but Iago causes plot courses and more trouble against Corrin than Garon himself, he should considered the real main antagonist.
l
No, because the Hoshidans cause ten times more trouble than Iago. The Hoshidans are the primary force opposing the hero through basically the entire game, nearly every level is dedicated to them, they are the main obstacle preventing Corrin from achieving his goal of reforming Nohr. Iago doesn't even come close to the Hoshidans in terms of antagonism.
Also, am I still speaking with Nauibotics, or are you someone else? You didn't sign the comment, so I don't know. Benandi (talk) 09:00, February 26, 2019 (UTC)
Nope, I always comment on my posts directly, not through an anon, and I always sign. Anyways, for the anon, Iago is a manipulator but ultimately a disposable pawn for Garon. He's a meso level antagonist. Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is who is the overall enemy that is driving the plot? It is because of Garon that the war is happening. It's because of Garon that you are choosing the invade Hoshido. It's because of Garon that you are forced to fight the Hoshidan Siblings. It's Garon who you ultimately fight in the end and his death is what ends the war. He is the main objective hence the Main Antagonist that drives the plot of both Birthright and Conquest. The Nohrian and Hoshidan Royal Siblings respectively are Major antagonists. It doesn't make them less important to the plot of the respective stories, but it ensures that people know that there is a greater enemy above them involved in the plot. It's the same with say Mikoto, Sumeragi, and Arete in Revelation. They both oppose you, but it is ultimately Anankos who is responsible for their fight against you. Garon is the Main Antagonist of Conquest and Birthright while Anankos is for Revelation and basically all of Fates. All of the Royal Siblings are Major Antagonists, but not the ultimate one that ends the goal.-Nauibotics (talk) 09:28, February 26, 2019 (UTC)
l
Quick point: being the protagonists' goal alone does not make you the main antagonist. If Corrin desires world peace, then neither peace nor the world is the antagonist of Fates. Also, being the last antagonist that ends the goal (as you put it) doesn't make you the main antagonist. In Blazing Sword, Eliwood\Hector wants to save the world. Nergal is the villain of the game, but the final boss he unleashes to destroy the world (the Fire Dragon) is the last antagonist, and beating it completes Eliwood\Hector's goals. But the Fire Dragon is not the antagonist of Blazing Sword. Plus, it's Takumi's death that ends the war in Fates, not Garon's.
Lastly, and most importantly, you say that Garon is the main antagonist because he is the "overall enemy driving the plot." He is responsible for the war, the conflict, etc. But here's the problem: you just described Anankos to a T. Anankos is the one manipulating Garon in the first place. It's not Garon who's responsible for the war, it's Anankos. It's not Garon forcing you to fight your siblings, it's Anankos. It's not Garon who made you choose to fight Hoshido, it's Anankos.
So, if the one responsible for the conflict--and not the ones fighting in it against you--is the antagonist, then doesn't that make Anankos the main antagonist of Conquest, and Birthright as well? Benandi (talk) 11:59, February 26, 2019 (UTC)
Alright, we can argue with semantics all day. I understand what you are saying. Hoshido is the main enemy faction of Conquest with Ryoma and Takumi being the main leader of the opposing army. I am not denying this. But just because they oppose you does not cement them as a main antagonist. Micaiah and all of Daein oppose Ike in ‘’Radiant Dawn’’ for nearly an entire act. We do not automatically slap an “main antagonist” because they are being forced to fight you due to the circumstances placed from another source, in this case Benion.
Your Fire Dragon further proves my point of the plot driving villain is not necessarily the final boss. Nergal is the main one to stop. Yes he summons a Dragon whom you have to kill to finish the game, however the Dragon was not the one to make him summon it. Nergal did it of his own free, if not insane will. Keep in mind that by killing him, they limited the dragons summoned to three and had they been even faster, they could have completely stopped any dragon from entering. Takumi in Conquest is the same. He’s the final objective yes, but Garon, again, was the main threat.
Finally, yes Anankos is the true main antagonist of Fates as is noted on his page. Garon is portrayed as the Main Antagonist on ‘’Birthright’’ and ‘’Conquest’’ because Anankos does very little else directly but use him and it is until we get to ‘’Revelation’’ that we discover that Anankos is more than just some deity that Garon worships in the other two routes, but the ultimate manipulator. The main antagonist, in the context of how we have used it on this Wiki, is the overall villain whom we are trying to overcome/stop/kill for causing events of the game. This is like Medeus, Grima, and Ashera or Gharnef, Lyon, and Negal. -Nauibotics (talk) 18:11, February 26, 2019 (UTC)
l
Right, but according to you, it shouldn't matter that Anankos doesn't appear that much personally in Birthright or Conquest; he's responsible for the events of the game, so he's the villain by default.
So, shouldn't the Wiki list Garon as a secondary antagonist for all three routes? Benandi (talk) 20:16, February 26, 2019 (UTC)
And that is why Anankos page lists him [Anankos] as the true main antagonist of Fates...which I already said. Garon is the main one shown, in Birthright and Conquest. If it is any compromise I’ll make an edit to reflect this convo.-Nauibotics (talk) 20:32, February 26, 2019 (UTC)
l
That's quite acceptable, thank you! To tell the truth, the only reason I pushed this much is because the Wiki as it is makes it seem like Hoshido aren't even antagonists in Conquest at all, and that it's just Garon all the time. I've recently been playing Conquest again, and after 26 missions battling Hoshido, I felt very differently, I assure you. :)
Yeah, I'd be totally fine dropping this now, as long as the likes of Ryoma and Takumi (and Xander for Birthright, of course) are treated as the (very) major antagonists they are. But however you edit it, thanks for your understanding!

List of Characters in Fire Emblem Awakening Edit

Why did you revert my edits made to the List of characters in Fire Emblem Awakening page?

Kind regards, Ethian (talk) 06:09, June 10, 2019 (UTC)

You removed a section header and removed the Deadlords.-Nauibotics (talk) 08:30, June 10, 2019 (UTC)

The removal of the Deadlords was a mistake. I thought that only bosses had fixed names. As far as the headings go however, I think their overdetailed; a mess. In my opinion, I believe that the headings should fall under simple categories, not overcomplicated ones, such as it is currently. Please reconsider before removing it again.

Kind regards, Ethian (talk) 14:47, June 10, 2019 (UTC)

That is not for you to decide on your own when we approved of the subcategories years ago. Though I will approve of the addition of Holland since its weird that we did not have him on the page already.-Nauibotics (talk) 17:03, June 10, 2019 (UTC)

Chrom editEdit

Hello! I noticed you deleted my edit on Chrom's page. I did that mainly because the concept of protagonist is wrong in that page, there's always one protagonist in a story and Lucina (the one who is aluded to be the third protagonists of Awakening) is a major character but she is clearly not a protagonist, so this is wrong. Also it wouldn't hurt to have an introduction of who is Chrom before the sections like it happens with every other main character in Fire Emblem to keep a  pattern.  Animalver  (talk) 07:45, June 13, 2019 (UTC)

Primarily yes, it's Chrom and Robin's story, and Chrom is the Lord character of the game, but we are making better distinctions of story roles as people have complained in the past that "Lord" means nothing to new players or people trying to get into the series. Lucina is still a major character, one of the key characters of Awakening's plot, especially driving the Grima plot that become prevalent in the second half of the game. She introduces the Children Characters and is more involved in the driving force of the plot's events throughout, hence the game has three main protagonists. As for the header, you can add stuff to the top, that is fine, but you don't necessarily have to move things out from the profile section. -18:09, June 13, 2019 (UTC)

Ok, thanks, understood about the lord! Lucina being a major and really popular character doesn't mean she is a protagonist though, no matter how important she is to the plot, there's a very specfic definition of what a protagonist is, and Lucina clearly is not. I'm repeating this because saying that Chrom is one of the three protagonists is kind weird when the others are not specified and one of them are not even a proper... protagonist. As for moving the header, i was just trying to keep a pattern because a lot other characters have the family, birthday and quick explanation of where they rule or a key info of their role in the first section instead of being in a block of text in the profile. Sometimes people just want a quick read to understand and have an introdution of the character, and Chrom has none. Ok, i added some stuff there but i think is redundant repeating the same info in the profile, but it's not the end of the world.- 16:44, June 16, 2019

Not to worry. Anyways, it's okay for the header to repeat information in the profile. A header is meant to give an even more condensed summary of the character, mainly just who they are title wise and their role in the story (being a playable, non-playable, protagonist, etc.). I mean, in Naruto Wiki the top for Uzumaki Naruto talks about his dreams to be Hokage, which is then reiterated below on his page.
As for what a protagonist is, they are "the leading character or one of the major characters in a drama, movie, novel, or other fictional text." by definition. Lucina is a protagonist mainly in the second half of Awakening but by far contributes to the plot of it more than any other playable character in the cast save for Robin and Chrom. It's like saying that Ron Weasley loses his protagonist role in Deathly Hallows becasue he leaves for several chapters, only to return and continue helping and driving the plot. Lucina is in my, and most of the editiors of FEWikia, is a protagonist, especially given the importance of the future/children plot point..-Nauibotics (talk) 20:24, June 16, 2019 (UTC)

Jedah Page Edit

I don't believe we should give in to vandals, I propose we revert to the original text and simply increase the protection level for the page. Emperor Hardin (talk) 23:42, June 18, 2019 (UTC)

That's fine. We should increase the protection since this is a problem. Nevertheless, I reworded his addition as it has some merit to it, just stated incorrectly. I phrased it to have less of a positive tone, instead painting him as a horribly misguided and warped individual that is blinded by faith in religion.-Nauibotics (talk) 23:52, June 18, 2019 (UTC)

How do we know? Edit

I would like to ask, How do we know that the human version of Anankos is not related to Mikoto because you know, How Corrin is the son of Anankos and Mikoto is a descendant of Anankos, does the game mention this anywhere where Mikoto and the human version of Anankos are not related? Just asking.MT2000 (talk) 22:49, July 2, 2019 (UTC)

Anankos is not the ancestor of the Vallite Family. He is a first dragon that allied with the rules of Valla. He only provided their ancestors with his First Blood, which is why they (Arete, Mikoto, and Azura) can use Dragon Veins much like how the Nohrian and Hoshidan families can use Dragon Veins from their ancestors receiving the same blood from the Dusk and Dawn dragons respectively. Corrin would get this ability from Mikoto naturally as well, but because they are his child, Corrin is his only direct descendant.-Nauibotics (talk) 23:01, July 2, 2019 (UTC)

Ahh, that makes sense, thanks for clearing things up Nauibotics, I was just a little confused thats all.MT2000 (talk) 23:09, July 2, 2019 (UTC)

Three Houses BirthdaysEdit

User:Tiero (talk)FE13 Swordmaster (M) Map Sprite 18:47, July 16, 2019 (UTC)
No worries. I just added that recently since we had put the Awakening/Fates character birthdays in all three top sections of the pages and it was a little annoying to have to scour the entire page just to find where it was. I already had updated the Awakening/Fates characters to have the same thing so their birthdays have been in the Character Template for at least a week now.—Nauibotics (talk) 18:51, July 16, 2019 (UTC)

New Max Stats just appeared in Three HousesEdit

Hey, I just checked on Serenesforest on Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and they've just featured the Max Stats that are occurring on the individual characters, just like in Shadows of Valentia. I wanted to add the characters' Max Stats, but I don't know if any of you guys made a new CharGrowth/CharMaxStat template for Three Houses. Can any of you guys make the new template, because I don't really know how. Thank you. RadiantDawnLord (talk) 00:42, July 27, 2019 (UTC)

Tea Time Dialogues Edit

Hi! Apologies if this was suggested already, but any chance there could be a page or subsection for all the possible correct dialogue options for tea time in Three Houses? There's a lot of possible choices and players would benefit from having that info when building support. Roranoa Drake II (talk) 03:51, July 31, 2019 (UTC)

You can always make a new page on the Monastery page for Tea-Time Dialogue and list preferred answers. Currently it isn't a high priority but we would appreciate having it on nonetheless—Nauibotics (talk) 09:42, July 31, 2019 (UTC)

Ongoing dispute Edit

Hey, sorry to bother you again. I've gotten involved in an ongoing dispute with an unregistered contributor who keeps changing IP addresses ([1], [2], [3], [4]). The gist of it is he wants to create three separate pages for the nobility of each of three countries of Fódlan, and he also wants to reorganize the layouts of those country pages. I disagree with both actions (for reasons I tried to convey to this person on the talk page of one of his addresses) and have reverted them. We've entered into an edit war over these content changes, and I thought it was time for me to step back and seek an opinion on them from an admin. Clockpuncher (talk) 02:40, August 3, 2019 (UTC)

The user has reached out to me and we are discussing this on my talk page. Clockpuncher (talk) 04:42, August 3, 2019 (UTC)
Hey again. You'll be pleased to know that the anon and I have mostly worked things out and compromise. The final point of contention is whether to make three pages for each 3H country's noble houses, or integrate that info into the existing country, character, and location pages. We would both appreciate an opinion from an admin like yourself about which direction is most appropriate. Clockpuncher (talk) 21:50, August 5, 2019 (UTC)
Please, we are still awaiting your response, or at least confirmation that you do not wish to make a ruling. Clockpuncher (talk) 03:32, August 8, 2019 (UTC)
IMO, the content of the pages are fine. I have no problems with it. However, these can be merged onto the countries themselves if desired. For now, since its not a spam page, we can keep it as is, but we can discuss later if we should just merge it or not since right now, we're just trying to put out as much information about the game first, then work on the clean-up/merging of content as needed. -Nauibotics (talk) 18:07, August 8, 2019 (UTC)
Thank you. And I apologize if I've come off as pestering during this, but it did seem appropriate to get an admin involved. Clockpuncher (talk) 20:50, August 8, 2019 (UTC)

Hey, not wanting to bother you after that whole debacle, but I'm the user who kept arguing with Clockpuncher about separate pages for the nobility of each of three countries. Now that this has been settled, the page is seemingly gone. Can you explain what happened?--2804:7F2:8180:1783:E167:A09A:8F4F:A92D 03:23, August 14, 2019 (UTC)

My apology Edit

Hello, Naui, yes I will admit, I am Mitchell20, and I understand I'm not allowed to make a second account but I really wanted to apologize to you. I am sorry for what I've said to you last year. I regret what I have done. And if I don't receive your forgiveness now, then I will do anything to recieve it, I look forward to your response. MT2000 (talk) 01:32, August 22, 2019 (UTC)

CrestsEdit

Hello Nauibotics yesterday I added the crests of Characters to their galleries For some reason you took them down I don't care about the images being up much I just wondered why you would go to the effort of taking them downOphelia Von Riegan (talk) 09:39, August 23, 2019 (UTC)Ophelia Von Riegan

The pictures are not of the characters themselves. Galleries are supposed to depict the characters as a whole. We do not put the Brand of the Exalt in Chrom/Emmeryn/Lucina/Owain's galleries because they have it. Same goes for the crests. Unless it shows the character themself in the image, it does not go in their gallery.—Nauibotics (talk) 09:42, August 23, 2019 (UTC)

Hey Nauibotics, I know holly war isn’t your specialty, but there’s a simple English error on Aida’s page that anyone who can edit it could fix; it lists Arvis as her mastress, as an apparent attempt to make mistress masculine. Problem is, mastress is just an antiquated form of mistress and is distinctly feminine. I’d change it to lover or paramour or something else entirely, if you can think of something better. Anyway, thanks for all you do!

Unfortunately I do not have a discord nor do I really have free time to use one. My availability ranges due to my careers that leaves my schedule inconsistent. One of the other admins may be more likely to do so, but I personally cannot.—Nauibotics (talk) 18:53, September 12, 2019 (UTC)

What's going on with the wiki? Edit

Hey, I've been trying to zoom in the images on the pages, but it just reloads the page I'm already in. Did something happen? I just want to know, because it seems to be an issue with this wiki only.--177.16.106.201 03:26, September 15, 2019 (UTC)

Would you care to give an example article? I checked a few articles, such as Butler, and I did not notice anything behaving unusually. 👑 Emptylord (talk) 04:14, September 15, 2019 (UTC)

Whenever clicking on an image, it directly redirects to the page where said image is featured, including the gallery pages. If I try to open it in another tab, it opens only the thumbnail. To give an example, whenever I copy the address, it goes on something like this: Linhardt_myrmidon2.jpg2804:7F2:8180:20C1:1086:1B34:118:8269 04:28, September 15, 2019 (UTC)

Hey Edit

What was my trivia take out? :0

There is a narrative reason for the house name and the color is still represented by the houses main color which is Red and Black (though every house uses Black). Nauibotics (talk) 21:53, September 17, 2019 (UTC)

Oh, I see. I'm so sorry, I didn't know about that UnU

Hi there! I'm Cirosan, the dude who did the Project Exile patch for Thracia 776. Sorry for leaving this here; I read your bio and I know Jugdral isn't exactly your wheelhouse, but I don't know this wiki's community that well and you seemed like the best bet for getting a prompt answer from someone.

Anyhow, someone has uploaded the scripts of my translation patch to your wiki and attached them to the pages of each Thracia chapter. This is really cool, and I'm flattered by it! But there's a slight problem: whoever did so went out of their way to not use any of my retranslated names for characters or locations. Instead, they edited my script after uploading it here so that it uses the names in the Shaya patch (the really old one that had "In America!" in it and "DaC" instead of "Use", etc.). As you can imagine, this is kind of upsetting to me, since I put a lot of work into properly translating all the names, and whoever has uploaded my scripts here has just undone all of that work. Maybe there was a technical reason for it - I don't know Wiki backend architecture all that well - but there's no disclaimer or note or anything saying that the scripts have been changed. If you stumbled upon my scripts here sight unseen, you'd think I was a bad translator because so many of the names are just plain wrong. I don't feel this is fair to me, and I feel that it's misrepresenting my work.

So I'd like to request that you please either:

1. Correct the dumps of my script so the names are what they are in my script, OR

2. If there's a technical reason why they can't be changed, add a disclaimer that the Wiki changed the names, and that's not what they are in the patch itself

Thank you. Have a nice day!
