Hello, and welcome to the wikia! On the Falchion page, the latest artwork is what is used as the featured image, except for a few rare exceptions. Your image belongs in the gallery, and I thank you for it, as we did not have that one yet.--Aivass Remurias (talk) 02:44, June 25, 2016 (UTC)

I would like to request that the Falchion main image remain to that of the original weapon. Most people recongize that particular Falchion and there are no rules or information in the Community Guidlines for having the latest image. That1AmiiboHoarder (talk) 03:08, June 25, 2016 (UTC)

Here are some useful pages related to this issue: Fire Emblem Wiki:Policies and Fire Emblem Wiki:Article Guidelines. Copy and paste those in the search bar and have a look. The question of what image to use as a featured image is addressed in the Article Guidelines under the "Rules" heading. Hopefully this clears up any confusion. I agree that the original weapon is more iconic, but I think the policy we have in place is very good and works very well.--Aivass Remurias (talk) 03:20, June 25, 2016 (UTC)
Also, your image isn't even the "original weapon" anyway, it's the (quickly forgotten) redesign for the DS games. But yeah, policy is "most recent art/design" (with exceptions, none of which apply here).--Otherarrow (talk) 03:25, June 25, 2016 (UTC)
Yep. Saw it. Sorry. I thought I was looking at it but was looking at something else. Lol, sorry. Though I do like the new Falchion page. Sorry, I'm new. I'll read the REAL community giudlines and keep them close to heart. Thanks and sorry for the edits. The preceding unsigned comment was added by That1AmiiboHoarder (talk • contribs).
“The image in a character infobox should be their official artwork from the most recent game they have appeared in (Not including DLC, Spotpass, Amiibo, etc.) If no official artwork is available, the next choice is their most recent portrait.”
—Article Guidelines

EDIT CONFLICT: Though to be fair, this applies mainly to characters, which may have tripped you up. I will amend the guidelines to make the policy more clear. Sorry for the trouble. EDIT: It's fine. We all make mistakes. For one, I quoted the wrong part of the guidelines at you initially.--Otherarrow (talk) 01:55, June 27, 2016 (UTC)
