The Vantage Scroll (まちぶせM Machibuse M, Ambush Manual in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776) is an item that appears in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. When used, this item assigns the Vantage skill to its user, permanently in Thracia 776. At first glance, this would seem to be a natural combo with Wrath, as the prospect of a guaranteed preemptive critical hit is tempting indeed. Unfortunately, however, Thracia 776's version of Wrath only activates if the enemy has already attacked, so the scroll will mostly be wasted in the hands of Orsin, Brighton, Miranda, Sara, or Xavier. However, in the Tellius series, this is not the case, though Vantage is reliant on the opponent's speed stat in Radiant Dawn, making it a rather inconsistent combination of skills.
