The Venin Edge is a Sword that debuted in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776.

Overview

Generally possessing a lower Accuracy rate when relatively compared to other swords, this flaw of the Venin Edge is offset by its unique ability of poisoning a selected enemy unit, provided that the blow inflicted is a successful one. This sword is generally wielded solely by enemy units, and is thus rendered largely unobtainable without the employment of cheats and/or hacks. However, it may be possible to obtain the blade, specifically through getting a Thief to Steal it if the enemy unit in question has it unequipped, usually the result of him/her either having switched weapons or being subjected to the effects of the Disarm skill.

In Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, it is possible to obtain this sword through the forging of a random Rusted Sword found in latter dungeons.

In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, this sword can be obtained by forging an Iron Sword with two Venom Stones.
