Verrine (ウェリネ Uerine) is an S-ranked Dark magic tome from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. When cast, this spell will cause seven odious magic circles to form a ring around the selected enemy target, that which draw in energy of the foulest, most corrupt nature before imploding in and around his/her body.
Like most other Dark spells, this tome is extremely powerful, but lacking in accuracy. Only two copies of the tome exist in the game, with one being held by Pelleas, and the other purchasable from Aimee prior to the Rebirth chapters. The scarcity of the Verrine tome is usually not a problem, as only two playable characters are capable of wielding Dark magic, both of whom only join the player's army in the later chapters of his/her second play-through onwards.
- In Admirable History by Father Sebastien Michaelis, Verrine, or Verin, is the name of a demon mentioned under the first hierarchy of the book. He is one of the princes of Thrones, second only to Astaroth, and tempts men to impatience. Verrine is opposed by St. Dominic.
- Verrine is an archaic French word that means "Window" and/or describes a small glass for desserts.
