Village TCG

Village in the TCG.

A Village (村) is a type of Terrain that is commonly featured in the Fire Emblem series. Characters can enter villages to initiate a dialogue scene and sometimes obtain a specific reward, including items or gold. Afterwards the village will close its gates, which prevents Bandits, or similar enemies, from destroying them. In the games where Marth is the primary lord, only Marth himself can visit villages. Occasionally, a new ally will join when the player visits the appropriate village, such as Canas in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade or Lugh in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade.

Villages usually offer a small boost to Avoid and do not impede Movement in any way (except in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn).

Across some games certain places have the effects of villages without actually being villages, such as the ruins on Valor in The Blazing Blade.
