Viscount Mateus is a character from Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. He is a minor lord of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus.

Viscount Mateus was originally the head of House Mateus before being replaced by his nephew, Baron Mateus. The viscount was named as a conspirator against King Lambert in the Tragedy of Duscur, along with Viscounts Elidure, Kleiman, and Gideon.

When Cornelia is defeated during the liberation of Fhirdiad, she warns him that Dimitri will attempt to exact revenge on him and the other western lords. In response, he rallies the other lords to raise a revolt as the Kingdom army marches on northern Mach in order to defeat Cornelia and her supporters once and for all.
