—Mission description
What Lies Within is a paralogue chapter for Hilda and Marianne in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. It is exclusive to the Golden Wildfire story route, and is available from Chapter 10.
Story[]
Marianne is supposed to leave on a scouting mission but the provisions room is disorganized much to Shez's shagrin. Hilda checks on her but decides to take on the scouting mission herself when she sees that Marianne is having trouble. They manage to organize the wood when Marianne's clumsiness scatters everything. Shez then notices that Hilda hasn't returned and the two of them leave to check on her.
The two of them rescue Hilda from the enemy with Marianne apologizing for her crest bringing disaster. They try to retreat only for Ingrid to stop them. They manage to get her to retreat and return to camp. Shez asks about the crest but Hilda decides not to dig further into it. Shez and Marianne mentioned they stopped cleaning because they were worried about Hilda and she decides to help out with the sorting.
