—In-game description, Shadow Dragon and New Mystery of the Emblem
The Wing Spear (ウイングスピア Uingu supia) is a Lance that first made its debut in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. The personal weapon of Caeda, this lance functions as an equivalent to the Rapier, in the sense that it is capable of inflicting effective damage against cavalry and armoured units.
The weapon serves again as the personal lance of Caeda in Fire Emblem Warriors.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Winged spears, historically, referred to spears with protrusions extending below the blade. These were meant to prevent the spear from going too deep into its target and becoming impossible to remove without breaking, and were particularly favored when hunting animals like boars, which were ferocious enough to force the entire spear through their body and attack the hunter.
- It is stated by Donnel in Awakening that the wife of the First Exalt wielded "a spear that had wings".
- Despite Caeda being present, the Wing Spear is absent from Fire Emblem Heroes due to her being a Sword Flier. A later update added the Wing Sword, essentially the sword version of the Wing Spear.
