The Wolf (ウルフ Urufu) is a race and a class of Beast tribe Laguz that is exclusive to Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. A tribe of Laguz that is able to assume the form of a wolf, Wolves tear into their foes with their Fangs. Like all other Beast tribe Laguz, the Wolf class is vulnerable to Fire Magic.

Profile[]

Wolves once resided in the desert nation of Hatari, one that was, owing to its geographical location on Tellius, isolated from the rest of the continent's inhabitants. As a result of this, the Wolves led lives that were sequestered from the foibles and vices of the rest of Tellius. So isolated was the nation of Hatari from the rest of Tellius, Nailah herself, prior to meeting Rafiel, believed that her nation was the only one that managed to survive the Great Flood.

A significant advantage to having led a secluded existence is the fact that Wolves are not subjected to the negative influences that plague the rest of Tellius and have contributed significantly to the conflicts that have been waged between the Beorc and Laguz. The more prominent of these include the apocryphal spread of a malicious lie by the Begnion Senate that positive Beorc-Laguz relations are blasphemous, alongside the irrational fear that both Beorc and Laguz alike direct towards the Branded, driving them to alienate this group of individuals.

Neither harbouring hatred for the Beorc nor the Branded, Wolves peacefully cohabited the realm of Hatari with both Beorc and Branded alike. The Wolves only became involved in the chaos gripping the continent after Nailah, the queen of Hatari, rescued Rafiel, the first prince of the nigh-extinct Heron Tribe, from certain death prior to the events of Radiant Dawn.

Following the events of Radiant Dawn, the inhabitants of Hatari are led by Nailah to migrate to Gallia under the personal behest of King Caineghis. There, they are finally reunited with their Cat, Tiger and Lion counterparts, allowed to cohabit the realm of Gallia with them in peace.

Overview[]

Combat[]

Wolves are the most skilled out of all the other Beast tribe Laguz, and are also blessed with high Speed.

Only two Wolf Laguz appear in the game, and they are Volug and Queen Nailah. This gives the player very few options if they desire to add Wolves into their main army. Volug has the advantage of being more available than Nailah in the game, but it is also advisable for Nailah to be trained when it is possible to do so; she is indisputably one of the best Laguz units in the game.
