The Wolf Beil (ヴォルフバイル Uorufu bairu) is an Axe that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. Bound solely to Hector, this axe is able to inflict effective damage against cavalry and armoured units. This trait is shared with eight other weapons in the entire series - Rapier, Reginleif, Mani Katti, Regal Sword, Thani, Wing Spear, Noble Rapier and Wing Sword.
The Wolf Beil is considered to be the best of the Horseslayer and Armorslayer hybrids, due to the fact that most armoured and mounted units are armed with Lances. This grants its wielder leverage over his opponents due to the Weapon Triangle determining axes to be strong against lances, provided that the enemy has not equipped an Axereaver, in which case a Rapier or the Mani Katti would have the advantage.

Trivia
- The in-game weapon description of the Wolf Beil mentions that it is effective solely against Infantry units, probably due to there being a limited amount of space in the text box.
