The Wyrmslayer (ドラゴンキラー Doragonkirā, lit. Dragon Killer) is a special Sword that recurrently appears across the Fire Emblem Series. Much like what its name suggests, this sword is one that is effective against such Dragon-type classes as Wyverns and Manaketes, in which its wielder's Might is tripled when battling said classes. Such a fact may be perceived to be offset by the fact that its wielder may oft be at a Weapon Triangle disadvantage in the games preceding Radiant Dawn, owing to the fact that the Wyvern-based classes principally wield Lances as their weapons of choice.

The Wyrmslayer is analogous to the Dragonspear/Dragonpike and the Dragon Axe, although neither of the latter appear in as many games as the Wyrmslayer.
