Zanado Cutscene

Zanado, as depicted in the past.

Zanado, the Red Canyon is a location in the Oghma Mountains of central Fódlan near Garreg Mach Monastery.

Profile[]

Zanado was once the home of the "Children of the Goddess", as well as the Goddess herself, as part of an ancient civilization. Over a thousand years before the events of Three Houses, their home was destroyed by Nemesis in an act of genocide that left only a few survivors. Its alternate moniker 'the Red Canyon' is a reference to the massacre and the amount of blood spilled.

In Imperial Year 1180, Byleth visits Zanado at the personal request of Sothis as the events of Sothis's Paralogue. While there, they are attacked by Demonic Beasts, but fend them off with the aid of Byleth's class.
