Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In German, the name Zweihänder translates to "two-handed", as the weapon was usually between five to six feet (roughly one and a half to two meters) long and was heavy given it's size, however everyone in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia wields the sword one-handed due to the one seen in said game being much smaller than it's real life counterpart. It was also primarily used against pikes, and used sparingly against infantry.
